Zincalume only available for flat products, e.g. roofing, and max thickness for Zincalume coated steel is BMT 1.2mm
Most of the products that uses more than 1.2mm are galvanized (Zincanneal) Zincalume and Zincanneal are registered trade mark for BlueScope Steel Ltd. Generic is Galvalume and Galvanized for both product respectively. Back to the question: If exposed to rain, recommended to use hot-dipped galvanized steel and then powder coating. Based metal preferable 1.2mm. |
