Updating on C7 hard reset:-

Upon connecting the phone with Ovi Suite, it finds the necessary update for Maps, Social 1.2 etc...

Perhaps Nokia FINALLY put together the puzzle and its safe to hard reset our device nowadays...

**Im doing this with PR1.1 updated phone. I do wonder if its a little different without PR1.1

Update 2:-

Social 1.2 wont install... but recovered the gmail, yahoomail and hotmail option in MAIL...

Marketing trick that works... but LOL

Its just like I get an Android phone right now, sign into my Google Acc and get my contacts, emails, calendar all synced up... how long would it take WP7? LOL

And then Im gonna browse Android Web Market, signed in and click to install any app without ever touching my phone... will WP7 be able to do that? LOL

I might consider trading the C7 for E7 rather than getting JUST ANOTHER Symbian3 phone.

Get a codec checker. I too have a few MKV that dont play on C7.

Wondering if its the same problem encountered by those using Realtek based chipset media player regarding MKV compressed header.

Not sure whats up with Social. Maybe some tight integration. For PR1.1, only Social 1.3 will install without any problem. 1.1 and 1.2 update both fail. Even when downloading using OVI Suite.

Aiyo, no contract still dun understand meh?

I only get a BH-504 after coming in second to Nic in Angry Birds competition. He got the awesomely expensive BH-905 for beating me... hahaha
