dun play foursquare...dangerous...
*
hahaha yeah it is. but as a 4sq user. this is good good news. the native foursquare application for nokia symbian 3 really sucks. works half the time. can't detect my location if i'm in the building. need to go out. open air area only =/

isn't all gps device act like this?? sweat.gif
*
i'm quite sure i don't use wifi to detect. if my bro ( using 3gs ) and me are in the same place. his 4sq app can detect the location much much faster than mine. but the gps for 3gs takes forever to lock as compared to my n8 with ovi maps

most of us used it. Its ok except for the fact that it consumes more battery and RAM.
*
oo okay smile.gif will use it for a couple of days and then i'll decide whether i'll stick with it. currently i get about 2 days worth of battery life due to the fact that i'm connected to whatsapp all day longg... -.- blink.gif

all of us uninstall whatsapp edi. Real data sucker. U on unlimited data plan?
*
haha. yea i hated it at first but i sms a lot of digi numbers. they all iphone 4 users -.- so its easier if i use whatsapp.. um no not unlimited. i get the maxis package. its rm18 - 100mbs - 2 weeks. so one month i pay 36. 200mb is usually more than enough for me to whatsapp/surf the net/fb/twitter/foursquare. and the maxis 3g speed is really impressive biggrin.gif faster than my internet connection at home sometimes thumbup.gif biggrin.gif

Nokia N8 6 Home Screen Mods For Unhacked Phone:

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! sweat.gif

Please follow below steps to get the 6 home screen mods into your beloved N8:

01. Download the attached file 200159c0.zip, extract the folder into your PC (keep all the subfolder info intact).
02. Backup your phone contents for emergency use if anything go wrong.
03. Connect the Nokia N8 to the computer through USB MASS STORAGE Mode (very important).
04. From the computer, go to E:\Private\200159c0 in your Nokia N8
05. Copy all those EXTRACTED files (both "import" and "install" subfolder) from your PC into Nokia N8 200159c0 (replace/overwrite all existing files).
06. Properly disconnect your Nokia N8.
07. Wait for 1 minute.
08. Change your N8 profile to OFFLINE Mode.
09. Now on your Nokia N8, go to Menu> Settings> Phone> Phone mgmt. > Factory Settings > Restore

After the phone will auto reboot, you lose all your settings (location of widgets, icons arrangement).
All applications and files will still keep intact (photos, videos, music, messages, contacts).

200159c0.zip

Please help to report back if it really can work out!!!
