I search around and can't get any topic regarding the comparison of these two consoles and buying guide,
therefore I'm here to create a new topic hope to seek for help and suggestion from all of you,
Please list down the pros and cons of these two,
suggestion on which is which that is more suitable for different ppl with different needs and wants.

This topic is pretty flammable, so before it's closed I'll just sum it up for you:

Xbox 360 has much better online features and connectivity
PS3 is all around a really good console

That's all I have to say about that.

1. Which one is more powerful?
2. Which one can last 10 years?
3. Which one can play Bluray?
4. Which one can output HD surround?
5. Which one has free online?
6. Which one has original games?
7. Which one has a more active forum?
8. Which one has warranty?
9. Which one doesn't have the well known RROD?
10. Which one has superior FFXIII?
11. Which one is more sincere to the gamers by not buying games' rights?
12. Which one is more innovative by creating the revolutionary Move rather than copying the PS Eye?

ps3 yo!

1) XBOX360 is actually more powerful. Dozens of cross platform games proves it.
2) Both are destined to have same lifespan.
3) BD?? HD Mkv is better... Free somemore...
4) That is only useful for BD and if you have a high end HT system.
5) Free things no good. XBOX Online is the Best. This is Undisputable.
6) Sama saja lar, more or less the same.
7) Same.
8) Both also got.
9) PS3 has LYOD. XBOX RROD is now mostly a thing of the pass ever since the Jasper revision.
10) PS3 version Only superior in CGI due to more storage. FFXIII is not a triple A title anyway. I am playing it now...Zzzzz..

12) Move is copycat of Wii Stick...you call that original ar?? PS Eye is only a 2D detector. Doesn't do 3D tracking. KINECT is first of it's kind.

Frankly no need to ask so many BIASes questions.

Only need to answer one.
1) Can PS3 do Dance Central which detects everypart of your body without strapping four PS sticks to your body??

Why i prefer PS3.... Because PS3 got no stupid region nonsense like Xbox... maybe this issue doesn't bother anyone... but to me.. it did... lol.

And,

If u no money pay yearly subscription unlike some very rich people here.. then PS3... but be warn, its not that perfect but, xbox live depends on your connection too..

If you like JRPG then PS3...

If you love indie games then Xbox..

If you got money, good broadband speed and love MMO then Xbox better still a PC..

If you like the idea of playing games while moving your whole body or that you feel you wun look like a retard... then Xbox kinect..

If you like wii, and prefer the idea of holding something, and want more HD and bloody games that looks like wii then go for the PS Move...

Graphic wise, you are not robot, so dun bother with it, nothing is perfect ..as long as the game is good, then ok dy.. we are here to play the content not graphic... FFVII polygon design is still fun or any arcade games...

If you got huge HD tv, bluray is the best... And you can download from PSN...Also, Say No to piracy people!!! Xbox movie download oso not bad.. HD oso..

Hmm, last week me jalan2 in some shopping mall, can see their ps3 playing backup game.

My personal choice :

1. I want Blu-Ray functionality (hard to go back to DVD once watch this on HD TV)
2. I want games to be played free online as I don't always have time without worrying for monthly subscription.
3. I support original stuff - sometimes hard when everything is pirated around you. Purposely buy a new PSP because my old one is modded.

Other than that, I believe gaming wise, every console has good exclusives & many cross platforms but since I own PS3, you can't go wrong with games like Heavy Rain, Uncharted series, JRPGs, Little Big Planet series, Killzone series, God of War Series, etc.

As for Kinect / PS Move, I'd probably won't join in until another 1-2 yrs (when I have bigger space) but seriously, who uses a finger to shoot a gun this days. What is this, 5th grade?
