as per spec = 55 liter

however, normally I will get around 48-49 liter after refilling the tank (auto stop) when the fuel warning light up and the range is around 20-30km left....

same as my case.... hehe

Have u guys change/installed ur stock car security system or any tracking device in ur car? does it got to do with the car warranty?

lately, few of my fd2r frens wanna let go their ride.... ur fd2 is it in stock condition when getting the top speed @ 236km/j....

yeah...my fren car also stock n can get 235...but from 225 to 235 quite slow.... when he mod his exhaust system, reaching 225 also very difficult...hehe.

anyway, can assume that STOCK Golf 1.4 = Civic FD2 = Top Speed = 235km/j

p/s: IMO, 0-215 Golf will take lead....

CTR can reach 260-270 after removing the speedcut.....but dunno how accurate the speedometer is. Anyway, safe driving...

200-250 @ CTR just feels like cruising at 100-120km/h.....Look at minute 4.46 (the speed remain static at 263)

P/s: btw, GTI owners should have an open track day at SIC with the CTR owners as well....and as for Golf 1.4 tsi should be paired with the fd1/fd2 owners...

last year....i booked on 5/10/2010....received on the 20/10/2010....however, all this depend on the color and whether they got the ready stock or not...

just wanna share my opinion on the 1.4TSI & 2.0TSI GTI....

-before I owned the 1.4 TSI, always love and admire the GTI (whether Mk5 or Mk6). always play around with those GTI with my other N/A car...

-after testing both cars, decided to go for the 1.4 Tornado Red..... actually, the day I booked my car was actually the date for my appointment with Honda SA for the Civic Type R.

-The VW SA really 'racun' me on the GTI....he showed me how the XDS functioning, DCC + Emergency brake when taking corner....

-so, after taking a lot of consideration....I still go with the 1.4TSI. (most probably becoz my wife that will be using the car most of the time to go to work + 15K more than the CTR)

- after using 2 months of it....feel a bit regret not going for the GTI. (After saw a lot of GTI went to SIC for the Verity Open Track Day - Not able to see any 1.4 TSI during that day)

- however, after 6 month owning the car.... I am not regretting for not purchasing the GTI. The stock performance in the 1.4 is quite good or probably the best comparing to other < 2.3 cc N/A car..... maybe if I want a performance car i might settle with something that is in Manual Transmission...

- I started to value the Twin-charger thing, low fuel consumption, the cruise control (during hiway), the comfortable ride & the NVH......

- However, those who really 'kaki tekan' + 'layan corner' thing should be regret not getting the GTI if no budget constraint.... what's the use of 280Nm + 210whp if rarely use it.....

p/s: btw, for current GTI owners either Mk5 or Mk6, what would be your next car after this? just wanted to know...

based on the video I posted, I can clearly saw black smoked coming out from the exhaust when the GTI try to accelerate or perhaps WOT. wonder if 1.4TSI also 'exhale' black smoked when the turbocharged kick in.

p/s: if anyone here are going for the track day @ SIC....do invite me as i would like to experience and test the limit of my car....

it's a 1978 registered no....single digit no.

any Mk6 Golf 1.4 or GTI owners realized/noticed that our car got issue with BLIND SPOT either on the right view and also the left view..... cannot really rely on both side mirror and rear mirror when wanna change lane if the other incoming car is close enough.....

yup...I agree. normally max oil temp driven b4 was around 118-123.... when i'm in fast mode, i'll make sure to monitor the oil temp + coolant temp. heard some 'sifu' said to ensure the oil temp not exceeding 130.....

my mileage is now around 13K km (never change EO)...so far, as at yesterday my EO level still more or less the same as picture below whether in cold/warm engine....
