nice looking set of wheels man. just installed the eibach pro kit. didn't go to any shop and did it on my own with some help from friends. The rear coils was so easy to install but the front a total blond b****. The collar of which the strut base was lodged into was tightened with a deathgrip. Anyway, the car now looks so much nicer and not the 4x4 mode kinda look. but one thing is, my hid auto adjustment is messed up. even playing with the auto-leveler doesn't make a difference. gotta go to VW to reset the sensor.

True. One thing that's holding me back from this is the DSG limitation. 7 speed dsg is made by Luke not by Borg Wagner. The limitation for torque is only 250NM. So far, no company can give me conclusive answer as to the reliability of our DSG after S1 mapping.

It's getting crazier by the day. As a malay, I'm disgusted that the majority of these idiots are malays. Speaking of road bullies, on my way back to Pasir Gudang, there was on A-hole in a Honda Stream following me closely behind untill I reached the hotel. I'm sure my car is marked now in this area.

CTR could only be compared with the GTI. It's a very good car in terms of performance and a real driver's car. But for everyday ride, personally i think the CTR is way too hard on the suspension and the engine noise. It's lively and throaty but it's not my cup of tea. The GTI on the other hand is a good balance between a daily drive and a performance car. But I could only afford the TSI for now. It's still a great car with performance better than the 320i. BTW, just got my new OZ Ultraleggera 17's. Can really feel the reduction in unsprung weight. The denver weighs 10kg per corner while the legs weigh 7 kg only per corner.

Guys, just wondering if any golf 1.4 tsi owner has tuned their ECU with APR or REVO etc. Could you tell me the cost, where and how the car copes with the new remap. I'm thinking of getting either REVO or APR.

Ok just called Ian from mod your fast. RM 3200 for S1. APR quoted me 3980. So if anyone has tuned, care to tell me how is the car? I still cannot make the decision. I have a certain amount of money from my trip off shore but contemplating whether to get the Stage 1 or buy an Ipad 2......
