There's no such thing with stick shift and paddle shift.
GTI is only available in DSG auto with Paddle Shifters in Malaysia.

If u can afford a GTI and don't like it becoz of it's DSG auto transmission u can always go for something like the Mazda 3 MPS but unfortunately there is no test drives available.
MPS is a good car but it's not much practical to me since it's only available in Manual tranny.
Otherwise go for Evo or Impreza

Yeah you can opt for the Mazda 3 MPS which gives you 255bhp and a manual transmission. Or you can also opt for the Renault Megane RS

So i called the dealer today n she said there are 2010 n 2011 stocks. With 2010 u can get the car as soon as 1 week and 2011 u have to wait for at least 3 months.

I asked what are the differences between 2010 n 2011 cars, and based from my understandings u only get the sunroof for 2011. Is this true?

According to some folks, they say that the 2011 GTI model will have the front light DRL's.

Just called another showroom, the one in Bangsar. The guy said no different at all between 2010 n 2011.

Just update a bit ... did my first mod which was to tint the car because of the bloody hot weather and what with the car being bloody black pulak. Cannot tahan already.

Did ecotint just like the missus' car and happy with my purchase. Next mod .... either LED taillights or PPS the damn thing ... depending on the amount of money I manage to steal from the bank.

The 2011 batch confirmed come with front DRL la, its already confirmed by few dealers to me. As for sunroof, didnt hear of it so far.

I tend to agree with this seeing that the 2011 TSI's also come with DRL's. Aside from that, didn't notice any other difference between 2010 and 2011 stock.

How much did you pay for your ecotint? Does it come with security film?

When I bought my gti from veemer. I asked them a lot of times if 2011 models are coming with drl. They kept saying no. But I highly doubt that because even tsi has the drls now. Costed me 4k+ to fit them on my gti

I'm getting the rear LED's instead of the DRL cause I think it makes the car look more special ... so I opted for the 2010 car.
