Hi everyone.

Just a question here, what would be the most recommended custom ROM for P500?
Prefer something that keep the stock UI because of my colleague is pretty used to the original LG UI.

Would be glad if anyone can spoonfeed me on this because I dun have the time to go through all the custom ROM.

You can always do the nandroid restore into your phone and unroot it, before send it for RMA.

There is workable solution if you dun know.
I did that with my DHD, and it came back great from the shop.

u send to shop or u do it yourself?

I did myself.

If you have experience installing ROM, u should know what is nandroid backup.
Basically phone can be rooted and unroot.

Once rooted, install clockworkmod, reboot in recovery and u can do a nandroid backup (a full backup of ur current ROM).
Then full wipe and install custom ROM.

Usually those who want to send phones for repair, format everything and perform the nandroid restore.
Unroot the phone, u are done wink.gif

Did that with my colleague's phone, running with devoid rom now. Fast n snappy.
Keep the nandroid backup just in case if require it.

perhaps u may need to downgrade ur firmware to those "capable" to boot into recovery.
Some firmware basically not "rootable" yet.

Google Maps, it will require data plan to operate.

Papago X5 is an offline GPS software.
