press menu > setting > about phone > scroll down and check software version
if start with v10 something, then is LG standard rom for our phone

but until halfway got problem
which is my phone how turn on also stuck at LG logo ==
so can say is bricked already, then go into emergency mode and use kdz updater to change back
luckily no problem ==

oh..that is why i now still doubt on flash to custom rom...scared yor!

Well, I’ve succeeded to flash my P500 to Gingerbread using European version v20e... So far no problems, localisation is Malaysia (for market/news) but language choices are european...

and u flash it using kdz updater ???
and can help me check ur baseband version ??
by dial following number >> 3845#*500#
then choose version info, and look for baseband version
check whether is it same as mine 2.2.2 v10g Malaysia version which is AMSS6038

Our baseband version is the same...
