agree!! iam hunting for 2nd hand ipad 1 as well soon! muahaha.

Sigh...my 2 month old Ipad is already considered an "old-model".

But I think I can live without the new features/benefits offered by Ipad 2, so far I'm pretty content with the 1st generation.

I dont think the market will be "flooded" by 2nd-hand 1st gen Ipads so soon. It takes time for the new models to arrive our shores and owners will probably consider if its worth upgrading to the new version. For me, if the upcoming new versions of IOS will run normally in my 1st gen, then I'm ok. My kid uses the Ipad more than I do, so I just need to ensure his apps running smoothly.

iPad serves me well now, will see how they improved in the 2 and only decide.

I wonder when iPad 2 will arrive in Malaysia. I was contemplating to buy the first iPad some time end of 2010 but heard rumors iPad 2 is coming soon.

How long more do I have to wait? Even if launch in US, somebody has to go queue up and buy it back!!

For Malaysia getting IPad 2 Fast , The only one thing is Apple setup a service center store in Malaysia . So we no need wait those who call their own as premier reseller to launching it after 10 month and can't do any repairing and warantty service due the only a reseller . one think I'm very disappointed in Malaysia is u brought iPad and iPod . If u send to service center , they won't direct sending to nearest service centre like Singapore apple. they will put ur device in their office , then just sending email to apple . if apple accept the case then only they send to repair or replace . This process we can normally do our own also . so I always prefer online apple store brought or direct purchasing in Singapore . Another things I really need mention, they have difference between u purchasing in machines Malaysia and apple store Malaysia . The difference is the casing . Machines Unit the casing quality is not perfect ! I thing is factory printing faulty . Apple store from Singapore unit is perfect . u all can compare it u will get what I mean ...

rest assured it will come to singapore first before reaching malaysia. for those who cant wait, singapore is just 3 hour's drive away.

can stop by at melaka for makan-makan on the way there, then come back time kasi pekena kopi+roti bakar kluang, fuh....
