Hi...can we upgrade the car to use for asian tournament?got the car...and tuning the season.
*
It seems you get the GT-R academy version in your garage and you can upgrade it to your liking. But, Once you're in the tournament, it's a different car to the free one in your garage. Everyone in Asia is using the same GT-R for this tournament which is fair loh, and you can only change MT/AT, traction control, ABS and Active Stability Management settings.

So far I feel it's tough to get into Top 10, this GT-R understeers alot, cracking my head to figure it out. I just got the ps 3, only 3 days ago so this game is still very new to me. Love it so far smile.gif

Congrats and good luck to trunksku. It was a tough event. At least must beat our down south neighbors.

Anyway, which direction to run on that Top Gear track? I did below 1:26 for the bronze, but still it doesn't recognize it!

Even if i restart or exit and come back to the event and didn't hit anything, it still remains like that.

" Should he take home the crown yet again, Polyphony Digital will commemorate the historic event by offering the Red Bull X2010 fantasy vehicle for a limited time to anyone who logs into in Gran Turismo 5. " laugh.gif kan cheong

Gosh.."Sebastien Vettel F1 2011 World Championship Celebration Event" ... Check the Seasonal. haha

Holy Wheel nuts.. shocking.gif , like watching F1 Fast forward 3X on Suzuka... also Need to -ve the steering sensitivity for the DS3.. feels like my tummy was left behind at the start, finish line.. blink.gif

If the GT-R could almost snap off Jeremy Clarkson's neck, this X2010 would be a equivalent to a guillutine..
-------------

Scratch that..have just Golded the event with a 1:21:840 time, DS3 need to increase steering sensitivity instead of decreasing it. Set mine to 3 which helped.. but tiny bit of nausea and dinner feeling abit weasy inside. No 1 time at the moment is 1:03:462 by a Jap.

My p1 bandwidth quota already exceeded. it would be impossible for me if the update is like 2 Gb in 1 file.

Instead, i suggest sony center to set up a desktop server, with a crosslink cable. We bring the ps3 console over to them, they hook our console one to one with that server and run the update. Finish update within 15 minutes.....(wishful thinking)

Formula GT events are tough. sweat.gif

2.0 patch works for me.
-the black cockpit for standard cars takes some getting used to, but better than bumper cam. you feel like a terrorist viewing through a Ski Mask.

- Loading times are quicker, seeing the other driver names light up one by one is a nice touch.
- 3 car settings!! very good, sorely missed from GT4 and now it's back. 1 track, 1 drift settings for me
- the % multiplier for prize money is abit irritating though. For the same efforts as before, am I getting less?

Finally gold on Formula GT @ Grand Valley speedway smile.gif. After some trial and error, generous amounts of traction control, no ASM. Decided on AT transmission as it shifts more efficiently than myself. But chee kek, enjoyable run. Happy n relief.

Had to ease off slightly before final straight. The left hand fifth corner need to turn in before reaching the actual corner, which takes abit of bravery i think haha. Clean overtakes more on the 2nd corner and also 2nd last corner. Adjusted the 7th gear slightly taller for the long straights, the first 6 adjusted for quicker acceleration.

New seasonal event was up yesterday. I completed the Tsukuba one around midnight yesterday. THis morning, it rolled back the amount i earned and reset the event's records. If you can get gold timing, i suggest you drive and wait just before the finish line and move across it when the timing is right , that way you will get for all 3 podiums.

But anyway, i guess that's the thing with program codes. Enhancing 1 portion of it has the risk of upsetting other parts.

Anyone got any tips on how to use the G25 on FR/MR/RR cars? It's so easy to loose the rear & impossible for me to counter steer properly, how much turn do you need to counter it properly without overdoing it? There are times where i nearly stabilized the car & my steering is centred but the car just suddenly switch to the other way...

Now I'm having phobias with FR cars...

I'm using all assist off except abs, simulation, FFB 6 power steering off.

Buy the adjustable LSD under Drivetrain category. Adjust all 3 to higher values for easier control. Also, you don't need to jam the pedal to the metal always. can try 1/3 or 1/2 pedal based on feelings, then when car is straight go ahead to pile on the power! Speaking of power.. do you need all of it?? sometimes i just use the power limiter to reduce it just enough to be competitive and make it easier to manage. But anyone knows how to adjust the button sensitivity of DS3??

On the car twitching, maybe your suspension is set too low or too hard, adjust the camber and toe as well to change the grip and understeer/oversteer.

From a few years of Initial D arcade experience haha brows.gif , especially Version 6 AA that requires drift.

No i only have ABS on DS3 & Wheels, I can floor most cars without much problem during 3/4 turn esp on FF & 4WD cars, on FR & MR with DS3 I have to do little bit of counter steer but no problem just loose some time while wheels turn, usually FR i floor it during 4/5 of the turn but on wheels i can't do it since i don't know how to counter with wheels.

Added on November 17, 2011, 3:56 pmI would assume it's fully modded to achive 53.6secs as i can only do 55-56sec on mine (on DS3).
For now, I am doing 56.158 with the Civic on DS3. . I know i am going abit wide and not hugging the apex enough and still figuring out the 5th corner. Maybe will try to set the gearing to match what this guy did and see how it goes, it seems he limit the gearing to suit the speed of the corner, so it kind of limits the mistakes as the rev's can go any higher for that gear.
