My exasperation on Formula Gran Turismo (Extreme)Talking about GT5, yesterday evening-night was spent on A-spec FGT (Extreme) championship (2nd try). First try last week, I abandon after fail to tune properly for Monaco and Monza, lost both.
This time, do a 500k chassis + 500k engine maintenance, power went from 887hp to 934hp (904pp)
Start at 4pm, each circuit 20-25 minutes (with short break in between to stretch/pee/refill). Manage to gold all 5x by 7:30pm (500 pts). The nearest competitor is 300+ pts only, which means I can abandon last race (suzuka) to win the trophy and save the game first
So I click exit, and made a mistake of
abandon the championship instead of
abandon the race 
What a klutz I am
After heaving a big sigh, it's either I try again next week, or do it now. So, I start all over again

and get 500 pts after Monza (rain this time and manage to lap +1 all). Time 10:30pm. Won the championship and get the Caterham Seven Fireblade (not yet try/test this car)
Weird thing is, I not yet win at Suzuka. So I load as individual race (rain) and gold it in 40 minutes (2 minutes each lap) and lap +1.5 all other cars.
Basically my FGT usage is done, and I'll use it for b-spec credit grinding only (for other bobs), not going to spend 1M to overhaul it anymore. If I need a faster/better car, I'll use the X2010 for my own grinding.
With the right tuning, it is not difficult (cut corners a bit

). Just need a lot of concentration on each turn, corner, braking lines. Now I know how hard it is for F1 drivers in Monaco, a slight mistake and that's it.
At 11pm+, I start b-spec Nurb 24-hours (Endurance). Tonight will check results

Talk about FGT, it is quite hard when I first drive it with DS3, because it is too fast... The fastest car in GT5 beside the X2010. After I get use to it, I realized FGT can't break too early or too much, have to break a little late and hard, should do the trick well in turning the corner.
