new update is coming...

QUOTE
As was suspected when Polyphony Digital announced GT5‘s online maintenance schedule earlier this week, Kazunori Yamauchi has now confirmed, via Twitter, the game’s next update should become available on August 29th/30th.

Following up with his previous remarks about v1.11, he wisely tempers expectations, reiterating the update will focus only on fixing software bugs within the game. New “features and content”, he says, will be arriving “in September and October”. That said, it is worth noting GT5‘s upcoming NASCAR Seasonal Event, featuring Jeff Gordon’s racing suit and helmet, is still scheduled to go live along with v1.11.

got scut ka bro i dunno la, all i know is the after the 1st corner straights are slight bends where we can use the gravel to go straight and the last corner after the apex of the corner can accelerate straight on the gravel to the finish line i see all the top ten use the gravel before the finish line  hmm.gif

second left turn hairpin where there's a green area you can cut into. i did that for the fiat 500 seasonal events.

rumblestrip is the red and white thingy, the green area is a run off area and shouldnt be counted as racing area.

Modern circuit all has this area like Spa, Fuji , but it doesnt mean you can use it to your advantage.

I am getting a PS3 soon and i am going to buy GT5 too. But may i know most of the Malaysian online players playing R1 or R3?. May i know what is the different between R1 and R3 in GT5?

From my understanding R1 is US version, R3 is Asia version.
Hope to have a clarify about this. Thanks!

PS3 game are region free. You can play multiplayer online regardless off disc region. The only difference between R1 and R3 is R1 has 'museum' option.

Mind me to ask again for  a better understanding.
Lets say if i buy R1 GT5, i am still able connect to Asia and US server? And same goes to R3 able connect to Asia and US server too?
May i know what is that 'Museum' thingy in R1?

Like my post earlier, PS3 games are region free. There's no 'official' servers for GT5, only GT5 players hosting games sessions.

since you are new to PS3, just read - http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1772845.

the museum is a virtual scrap book like a Panini sticker book, in which, each time you log in online you'll receive stickers. This part of GT5 is not that essential.

Thanks bro. I'm aiming for the Asian Champ next week!
I just checked the GT5 website and the result is up!
http://asia.playstation.com/hk/en/news/lat...wsDetail/240340

Race course  Nürburgring 24h (1 lap)

How to win:

Semi-finalists can use any car of any condition for the semi final. This is part of the race.
All participants are raced against speed. Top 3 racers who complete the course the fastest will be the finalists for the Asia Final

I think all participants will be using a Redbull X2010 for this race for sure.
