chances are you were infected from hsv not from this case. 2 out of 10 will feel symptoms of hsv, where the remaining 8 either feel very very mild symptoms to no symptoms. HSV does not have serious complication, cold virus complication are in fact much more severe if left untreated. thanks

Somehow previously i did not have such issues.. is there any link that can teach me or guide me to prevent outbreaks?

I had been googling for one month on this

I did at PFT centre after 5 weeks exposure. Cames back negative on AB and AG. But i still not sure how reliable is this. They mentioned its conclusive.

Do i need to recheck on next three months?

Yes, many ppl dont know that even with "safe practise".. u can still get STD.. for example, Hepatitis, HSV1 and 2, plus HPV.  These are contracted by saliva/skin contact.  Frightening..tatz why the best policy is be faithful with your single partner and be thankful of your health.  There was once a friend of mine who did a survey, and noted that many young ppl now practise non-safe and dont really care/know about the consequences.. not to mention, teenagers who went to rave party are under influenced of etc mind blocking stuff.  it will be costly to their future and this will increase the medical bills our country had to bear

I got HSV I & II even with condom.

QUOTE(STDinfo @ Jun 6 2010, 01:49 PM)
Point 1: The environment of the saliva is very harsh for HIV virus to develop. Therefore, unless there's an open wound in her mouth that's bleeding - the chances are slim to none. Even with an open wound, the chances are still extremely slim.

Point 2: It depends if she's HIV infected and how much milk you have ingested and if you have any open wounds in your mouth. As I have said, the harsh environment caused by your saliva disrupts the HIV virus.  It's an extremely slim chance you will be infected this way.

Point 3: Unless her vaginal fluids manage to enter the penis urethra or touch an open wound in your groin area. No, you will not get infected by rubbing or grinding against her. Like all viruses, HIV is incredibly fragile and does not survive well outside the body.

Point 4: It is possible but there has been no documented cases of anyone being infected with HIV via fingering. Any chance that you could be infected here is slim to none.

Point 6: HIV usually take many months if not years to manifest the initital symptoms. Relax

Point 7: It's like a lottery. For some people, even with direct unprotected sex, they do not get infected. But rest assured that if you did not have oral or vaginal unprotected sex with her, the possibility that you can be infected with HIV based on what you have described is close to being an impossibility.

If you wish to know your status, you may go for free anonymous rapid testing 6 weeeks after this encounter.

After 9 days and tested positive for HSV 1 & 2 in blood test? Sounds like you already get infected by previous encounters. Incubation period for HSV is around 2-10 days and window period is 3 months.
*
Yes, i got no idea why. It appear positive after 9 days as i feel tingling sensation.

Is it possible that i might doesn't have any symptoms before that and now it triggers back?

Yes, it could be. Sometimes stress/heat could trigger it. Did you do a swab test on the lesion or was it just a blood test?
*
I got ever stressful month that i gone thru. Only a minor blister on tongue and swollen lymph node on neck. Doc didn't see any significant, didn't get to do the swab.

You got any reliable resources how can read HSV IGG reading?

If there is a lesion that you suspect which looks like a herpes infection, go for swab test at clinics that offer STD screening.
*
Totally no any lesions. Its just ulcer at different area and heals in a week.

evening, I've got question to ask.

I went for a venereal diseases blood test on the 14 days after sex, for now all test were negative and below gray zone, is 14 days enough to get an conclusive result for venereal diseases?
as told by the doc I'll be returning for another HIV only test after 3 month, or should i take the full package again?
*
Wait for 3 months unless u got any symptoms. Don waste unnecessary money. 14 days can't conclude any.

Please don't ask me to call.

just finish tenofovir as PEP, (1month since exposure) should i wait for another 3 months before performing full test at clinic?
*
You can check this forum - http://www.drtanandpartners.com/home/

As there's reliable resources you can ask anonymously.

28th Days for HIV for AB AG is pretty conclusive unless you're infected with Hep C at the same time where will delay your HIV antibody to appear.

Within 3 months if you does not have any exposure/intercourse, go for a final check where this will be conclusive for all STD as well.

When you get to see 6 months for HIV, it pretty much outdated unless you keep on going ONS.

thank you, any recommended clinic which provide anonymous check but complete test for all std/hiv test?
*
You can go to this - http://ptfmalaysia.org/v2/

but somehow if you're tested for any STD, you need to get treatment as well.

You can't escape anyway.

Fact the fact, go test it. Do not rely on the self kit at home.

It's normal to paranoid for few months but be strong to face it.

Hi all. I hope there are doctors in the house to help me with my inquiries.

Recently, my partner and I have been performing anilingus (a.k.a rimjob). We always shower and clean ourselves before performing any sex acts.

My concern is, are there any long term effects if we continue to perform anilingus on regular basis ?
*
Suggest not to practice it as that part is for wastage usage, not for that purpose. You might gets others infection in your mouth. Please bear in mind our mucous membrane in our mouth is the thinnest skin/cells. You might not wanted to get something where is long term infection.
