few weeks ago a girlfren called and panic for having unprotected sex with bf. told her about the morning after pill.... and she went to take those

but the pharmacist advised that it's best taken 12 hours after intercourse latest 48 hours. does this means it wouldn't work after that time period?

and yes i scold the hell out of her for being stupid
