the morning after pill isnt suppose to be taken on a regular basis....
it is for EMERGENCY only~~

reason being is that its realli bad for ur body and mite hinder the chances of u havin a baby when ur older...
if u wanted to have unprotected sex ... should have taken the CONTRACEPTIVE PILL...

n neways even if u take the pill.. itdoesnt protect u from STDS......

anyway, the one who should be counsel is the guy... girls, learn to protect yourself...advice your bf.
emergency pill is not a all time solution for "accident". you'll be very suffer taking these kinda pills...especially most of you will feel nausea and vomit..and if you did vomit out the drugs...
have to becareful, because there's a chance that the dosage is not enough to push you up to "safe" contraceptive level. that's when these emergency pills failed...

My girlfriend and I have sex very regularly. So out of paranoia, she took the morning after pill, one in the morning of December 24th and one at night. The next night, we had sex again but this time the condom tore.

Thing is, I had no idea the condom had torn so I went ahead and ejaculated in to her vagina. Needless to say that the both of us were really freaked out. So she took an ECP (morning after) this morning. My question is, is it safe to take an ECP not more than 48 hours after taking another ECP?
Also, what are her chances of getting pregnant if she didn't take the second ECP this morning?

To be honest my baby girl is 3 months old liao,
When she was 2 months and a half, i have "ahem" with my partner using condom (put on condom on later on ..) my period didn't come until today. so is it normal for every women (just gave birth)

and i don't feel nausea or any pregnancy's symptoms. kinda worry now 

Oh.. I didn't know that breastfeeding will cause natural contraceptive. This info is so useful to me.. Made me glad now. I stopped breastfeeding when she is 2 months and a half because i'm going to start working after new year. I know breastfeeding is the best for the baby, but working life have to go on. Next time i will be more extra careful...i had already enough kids now. 4 in total. Thanks for such info.

for my 1st and 2nd, i did use breast pump. but kinda painful around the nipple area. and i dont like practicing storing milk. afraid the bacteria growth .. doctor advised me after you make the milk, and your child do want to drink at that time, you only can store less than 1 hr. after 1 hr, the milk cannot be drink because of some reason..due to bacteria ? i had forgotten 

and follow up with my 3rd and 4th child, i practiced breastfeeding.

few days before your period come, so that's mean your period will be coming in any days later?
i think it is safe if you have sex before period, not really make sense for after period came..
correct me if i'm wrong.
sperm do survive for ?? hours and took how long to get to the ovum .. need someone professional to answer that

to those who wanna take this pills, DO NOT take more than twice a month.

best if it's taken in within 8 hours after intercourse for maximum prevention..

the 2nd pill should be taken 12 hours after the 1st pill

cannot take more than twice because some women might experience menses after they consumed this.. imagine they hav to experience 2 times of period flow in a month.. besides, it's also stated on the instruction leaflet..

like i previously said, it cannot be taken more than twice a month, regardless of the side effects (bleeding) or not.

it's not meant to be taken twice a month.. u can go to any nearest pharmacy and ask the pharmacist to show u the instruction leaflet. for more enquiries, feel free to ask the pharmacist as well

i wanna ask if i still protected or not having unprotected sex 3 days after my period stopped???Btw Im taking Mercilon for a month d,now im taking 2nd pack..When first month taking Mercilon,my period nv stop for a month,period on for a month,so Im wondering if this is the side effects beginning taking the pills???Now im thinking should i take ECP after having this unprotected sex in 3 days after my period stops.

My period came for a month since i started taking the first pack.So i think it shoud be my body still adapting to the mercilon so tats y it have uncommon period. however my period starts on the 8th dec 2008 and it stopped at 4th jan 2009.And i started back my 2nd pack on the 5th jan 2009.Im afraid that Mercilon not effect for BCP if I do have such effects,but I came across that Mercilon will be effective after taking it for 7 consecutive days.So how??

because its 'shaving' her uterus walls and its bad for pregnancy. i dont think taking 2times a month is good enough. i still recommend once in 2mths or more.

using condom have 5% failure rate? ugh my my gf should have her period on 25th but now she missed it today is 3rd march that would be 6 day already I'll always use condom (extra safe!) guess not safe enough? or I'm one of those unlucky 5%? dam any idea what to do? she is freaking out now :-/

ECs... hmmm I personally wouldn't recommend them unless it's EMERGENCY and it's been close to 12hr since the exciting ordeal. If not, ECs tend to send the hormones haywire. Especially so in girls who has a irregular menstrual cycle. Every girl that I've known who has used them tend to share the same story. Irregardless of whether they have a consistent cycle or a irregular one. ECs will either make you bleed earlier than usual or way, way, way later than usual. To make matters worst, it is not a secret that stress will contribute to late period. So the more worried you are, the chances are it's going to be even later. So if the only way to make sure is do a home pregnancy test. 

To the girls, I feel girls should be more well informed on issues like this. If you find yourself having to take ECs more than once a month, I suggest you better make a trip to the GP or O&G and talk about monthly OCPs. It's proven safer than ECs with at least some benefits to it (i.e: better skin condition). It's definitely more expensive than ECs but it's definitely better than flooding your body with hormones sending all the wrong messages everywhere.
