Nothing is 100%. Think about it, before period & after period is THE SAME. It's still the 28-30 days inbetween. So it's better to say.. The "safe" period is between 1-10th day and from 20-30th day. Like i said, nothing is 100% safe. So best to use a condom or ejaculate elsewhere.

It's sad that your bf dont agree you take the pills. Maybe he should remember that you will be the one becoming pregnant if you dont take the pills, and if anything goes wrong, he should be responsible! He dont agree you take the pill then just dont ejaculate in you! Easy for you, logical as well!

cannot take more than twice because some women might experience menses after they consumed this.. imagine they hav to experience 2 times of period flow in a month.. besides, it's also stated on the instruction leaflet..

How long did your period last? In normal circumstances, if it's 5 days then it'll be on your 8th day, and your ovulation should be around 14-15, so you'll be quite safe.

However, u've been bleeding the whole month! So that's VERY VERY wrong and I believe it is not a good idea to take the second pack! Clearly you're suffering the side effects of it, and you could possibly be very pale and anaemic now. So please get advice from a doctor or just stop the pills so you'll stop bleeding (just in case you bleed again, since you said you've stopped bleeding)

You're not suppose to bleed for 1 month while taking mercilon. In regards to your last sentence, I dont think you need to take ECP since you've been on mercilon for a month already.

My period came for a month since i started taking the first pack.So i think it shoud be my body still adapting to the mercilon so tats y it have uncommon period. however my period starts on the 8th dec 2008 and it stopped at 4th jan 2009.And i started back my 2nd pack on the 5th jan 2009.Im afraid that Mercilon not effect for BCP if I do have such effects,but I came across that Mercilon will be effective after taking it for 7 consecutive days.So how??

What kind of bleed did you have throughout that month? Sounds very weird.. you should NOT bleed like that, and certainly your body would not react like that normally. PLEASE check if you've enough blood, because you've lost blood for over a month, you're highly at risk for anemia!

Yup, it should work after 7 days.. you'll be safe.. but my advice is still to stop the OCP. Come on, just get him to use protection and save your hormone levels plus your blood! This is an effort to get the best care for you..

One of the side effects of the combined oral contraceptive pill is irregular bleeding. I suspect that you have been spotting as opposed to having frank bleeding for over a month. Anyway, its time to see your doctor to discuss this. He or she would be able to assess you, take some investigations and then advise you what to do next.

In my opinion it is a known side effect which does resolve over time. Only that i think you should not just rely on advice from here as I have not seen you, taken any history from you nor examined you properly and only someone who has can give you reliable information. Go see your doctor. Cannot stress this enough!

Protected intercourse is needed within 7 days of starting an COCP and after that you are protected. But be sure to follow the advice regarding what to do when you miss your pill and if ever in doubt, use protection.

there's something wrong with your period. not i would say it doesn't cause irregular bleeding, but the pattern is not like this.
if you suffer symptomes of anaemia like : fatigue, lethargy all the time, and pale...
you need to go back to your doctor and check what's wrong with you.

for the mean time, pls continue on your medication.
