this is unacceptable. increasing currency = US win, own country die. thats why they say worldwide currency war. last week Chile just deflated their currency I remember. the US is the main culprit in starting the currency war. reason being when your currency is the reserve currency you cannot start the policy of 'beg thy neighbour' (massive deflation of currency to boost competitiveness). that is completely wrong.

to protect itself, Malaysia needs to start deflating its currency also.

it's to increase trading volume n liquidity. n 'attract' more ikan bilis, speculators, traders, etc.
the average trading volume of YTL now on a normal day is about 100-200k units.

but what can they do, its the stock that's 'uninteresting' low div, zero potential to goreng (due to management), not much corporate news going around. basically it's just a huge bulwark floating.. it's very stable, but uninteresting movement. good investing stock but not good trading stock.

i'd welcome 2-1 split but 5-1 is just crazy... n after i just bought it at 7.06 somemore 6.90 - 7 is mid 2009's price.

they're not an expert in 'you-know-what', but they're very good at preserving / improving shareholder value from my 2+ years experience with them n from my dad's time also. this time i hope they didn't bite more than they could swallow liao..

5-1 definitely not good move in my opinion.

my advice? follow all the sifu here. they all still not fidgety yet i think they mentally prepared for 1300.

i think best to be flexible.
