Keep watch in the most active volume counter with high volumes in and out..
If you notice a counter having panicked selling, price plunging out faster than blood flowing out.. Then you can opt to contra that counter already..
Let price drop until very critical. Time your entry, and enter once price rebound 1 to 2 level.. Sell when profit.. If price U-turn, sell also, don't lose ur capital.. Just pay some bank charges is ok.. Depending on your amount.. Should be around RM50-100 depending on your volume.

This is just suggestion since you want day trade.. On what counter, you choose your own.
But remember, trade at your own risk I bear no responsibility on whatever the outcome.
So far this method is good for me... Success rate quite high if you enter correctly..

just be patient and hold the good stocks, averaging down if you can.
Even during financial crisis,  when market -100 that day and then continously down several days....
it still climbed back and moved higher than previous high.

that's really , June is just around the corner. Sure sakit hati lor....

Those are good counters 
though good counters can also kena hard-hit when sentiment is bad, the plus point is that they have a good chance of recovering

when market is bearish, everyone likes to slash the Target price kaw-kaw.
Anyway, if you are worried about YTLland , try to find out if there's any potential bad news or bad news announced, otherwise just let it be lor....

ytlland hold cannot die one ..... longer term should be profitable but it can't helps if funds is needed in the near terms.

I really cannot make a decision for you, but if there isn't any fundamental problem with a stock, I would hold and if I have cash , I might average down.

YTLLand got big patch of land at Sentul..
Sentul might be the next big spot for development.. But that requires a long period of time to go..

Shouldn't have problem. The whole YTL family is holding the share.
Big brother have to make sure it don't go kaput.
New year is the payout day ... To maximize the profit for this type of share you have to collect low.
This is also one of the few counter that is quite safe to average down.
When you mentioned that some one said that it can go to 1.20 , I think he can be right in fact I think it can also go much lower may be at around 1.00.

Buy more to lower the average price
Say that  you have 1000 at 1.80
when the price drop to say 1.00
you buy 3000 more at 1.00
than your total cost for 4000 will be 4800 and average price will be 1.20 ( down from 1.80)

Average is a good idea, but be cautious when to average down, in a weak market like this, it is very hard to determine when is the bottom.

My view is that it is time to average down when the price is hanging around a certain price range.

Just my opinion.
