QUOTE(dragonsiryu @ Feb 21 2011, 11:00 PM) Planning to get either a plasma or led. Was thinking of Panasonic V series (plasma), Samsung plasma or the 6 series led. Any advice from u guys out there?? Thanks!! It also depends on:1. Who will be watching it. 2. What program will you be watching? Standard Definition. High definition. Movies. Games. 3. Where & when will you be watching it. In brightly lighted room? Daytime in room with plenty of window reflection. Professional reviewers/expert agree, as far as picture quality is concerned, Plasma is generally better. |

The newer Panasonic V series plasma is a lot brighter than the older U Series.

I you prefer natural colours, with nice black (really black), and mostly watch movies then go for plasma.
I would choose LCD/LED if I have tons of cartoons/animations. |

QUOTE(RayKazansky @ Feb 22 2011, 04:37 PM) I you prefer natural colours, with nice black (really black), and mostly watch movies then go for plasma. Now you know why showroom often show cartoon. It brings out the best of LCD/LED. Showing movies (especially with dark night scenes) bring out the worst of LCD/LED I would choose LCD/LED if I have tons of cartoons/animations. |
