I have this hob over a period and now there is few problems with this hob. Sometimes when I light it up, there will be burst. And the fire produces are actually much more smaller compare to last time. So I want to change for a new one. Prefer 3 burners, but 2 will do as well, budget is below RM1000, or around RM1000,

I had asked some of the forumers here but they seem like do not have any solution for my case since there are quite a few problem with my dimension and others.

I am eying on the Electrolux 7432S but I am not sure whether the dimension will do or not. Since the outer dimension is 760 x 460 and cut out dimension is 732 x 57 x 421, which means that there will be only 3 cm on the side and 1 cm for the front and back to support.

Someone who has experienced with this type of problem or are good in this please help me out, really appreciate it since I do not know much about this.

This is the dimension I got for my current gas hob (Faber FGH 33B/76)

Cut out dim: 730x450
Outer dim: 790x510

Thank you very much!

I've a quick check last time but the price is actually over my budget which is more than 1.5k.

Btw, is Milux good?

Added on February 25, 2011, 1:12 pmOr is there anyone can recommend me technician to repair the current hob? Which will be much more easier than me then.

Added on February 25, 2011, 1:19 pmLet say if the new one is 780mmx450mm, can the extra 5cm support the weight since the weight will only supported by the side but not the front and back.

the flame is small becos you didn't clean it, try to use needle to clean the gas vents , try to wash it and dry it 1st.

Also if you really need to change a new hob, what i saw in your pic, either is you need to get a new one which size is bigger then the old one, and ask the shop to do you a favor to enlarge the hole.

Do not get hob tat is smaller then you existing one.
