Wow...v4 already.

Reporting in as a user of T200 and Edgesaber10 though ES10 just sits in the bag. Thinking of getting another racket soon.

I am also a heavy weight. Currently using an Ashaway cheapo shoe which I bought for RM45. Considering the price, I think it's really good. I initially bought it as a cover until I get a better shoes. But it performed very well and might just delay me of getting a new shoes. Here is the shoe:

RRP of £44.99. Pretty much a bargain.

ES10 is a defensive racket for me. Very light. You can feel that you defend muc better than the T200.

But it is also harder to generate power. The swing speed is considerably faster than the T200 so you might need to adjust your timing accordingly. Having said that, the tacket is harder to get a more solid smash but no problems for clears.

You are from Melaka right? You can try go to this shop in Hatten which carries almost exclusively apacs stuffs and try all sorts of rackets. The racket is kinda cheaper than most retailers but the tradeoff is you need to get them in pairs. I got a pair of ES10 for RM170/180, I forgot. That price is for the Peter Gade version and comes with grip and string though cheap ones.

I am beginner too and I think T200 have a lot to give you. Just try all and get what you feel right for you. I fell in love at the sigh tof my T200 and bought it in a heartbeat.

I do agree about the ES10. But I think if you have strong wrist, you will benefit from it. More wrist, less forearm.

Just my 2cents, I'm still a newbie =)

Saw some ebay items that are being sold by Badminton Bay. Is this a Malaysian retailer?

Currently looking for a light weigt but head heavy racket...am a fan of apacs so that's the brand I'm looking at. Apacs tantrum light seems to be good on paper.

Most RSL rackets suffer from the "too much logo" syndrome. Other than that they are nice.

Keep us updated with the X5 availability.

Wow...the thread is kind of quiet today...

Let all the X5 reviews come in. So far the only review was "It's a good racket". Put in some details yo! XD

Anyone knows whether Hock Eng Bangi have the RSL X5 series? Planning to do some recon for the X5 before deciding...

Jon rated it better than the T200 that I've fallen in love with so he'd better be correct!

I have an ES10 and I don't recommend it to be your main racket. Maybe cause I tasted T200.

I'd recommend you Prince racket. For its price, its surprisingly good. I have the Classical Tour 13 and it performs well. I was in love with it until I gotten further used to the T200.

I might add something.

I read somewhere that RSL is really particular about their rackets' durability. In their official facebook page, someone complained about his broken racket and the representative requested him to report such incidence to the local office.

I am not sure what actions will they take though. Who knows you might get lucky and get a replacement yourself? =P
