i really am noob wif android.. rlly unsure on the discussion here.

So my question is,
as my budget is around 900-1000, is it better Samsung Galaxy Ace or LG Optimus One??
I'm changing from iphone to android so my expection on budget android also quite high..huhu

LG Optimus is not the same or as good as Iphone 3Gs meh?
as some LG optimus One user recommend me to try android as they say can fight2 wif 3gs so i also wanna try
but if Samsung Ace better then wanna try the better one lo.
tkar2 angin la from iphone since has been using iphne only.
so any suggestion LG Optimus or Samsung Ace? as this is SGA topic so i tot maybe someone would educate me why its better from LG Optimus One.hehe TQ

3gs n this almost the same in term of hardware...
the consideration only the OS....


OS? means android?
is froyo 2.2 consider not okay? firmware still can update aite?

one of the biggest problem with android OS is fragmentation.
bcos of the free nature of android, most manufacturers dun give a rat's arse abt ensuring dat their devices are with the latest version.

and bcos manufacturers also produce their own software layer to overcome the many weaknesses of android, they need to spend a lot of time and effort to rewrite software whenever new android version is released. for example, samsung has touchwiz, htc has sense, motorola has motoblur, etc...

and the situation gets even worse and more complex for customers.
more often den not, if u buy the low-budget or mid range androids, manufacturers (except for htc) won't want to update them.
even now, when the 2.4 android is going to come out, most new phones are still with 2.2.

and the dung really hits the fan if u buy the mid range androids, u may find the latest apps is not supported.
e.g. different reso, features, etc.

Well, the Optimus One is expecting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update, but no news on when it is getting it.


if Optimus got updates samsung didnt have the updates also ke?? since both is android.. sorry noob here...heheeee

so plus minus both r the same....

600mhz + 512mb RAM --- processor not enough so need the higher RAM to support

800mhz + 3++mb RAM --- processor fast enough so 3++mb RAM is enough to support

me from subang.
i think if u ask around popular shop like at pyramid or digital mall or any subang area shop all no stock dy/maybe overprice. i've been searching the whole weeks (last week) but i accidentally just asking hp shop at carrefour ss15 and they got lot of stock both white and black..i got mine for rm1000 last friday fullset together with sd card class4 8G and car charger. i think the price still reasonable as i dont have to search far to kl.

anyway anyone know who's selling SP for Ace?

mines also dont have? huhu
