I find the battery quite weak.. But I have to say this phone is impressive. 

but it has a same disadvantage like optimus one, which is no flash support on browser

no flash means cant watch youtube?

hurmm imo, pretty much the same with others. is there any android phone in the market which can last more than 10 hours meh?

around 12 hours. but of course half the time was spent dling and installing things

Really ? Sounds like 10% out of 100% for me, 48 hours > 40+ hours. Maybe things don't work that way. haha.

-Processor (800Mhz Qualcomm MSM7227-1 Turbo on GA compared to 600Mhz Qualcomm MSM7227 on O1)

I got my unit yesterday from jason/moon. all the way from klang to kepong to grab the last black unit of the day

very satisfied with the phone. I got this ace and LG O1 in hand now.
I love both of them, but at some part I love the Ace a little more.

Ace pro's:
like the camera(5MP with flash),
the screen size(3.5"),
sound/audio reproduction,
android 2.2.1 out of the box,

con's:
speaker placement at the back( I prefer at the front like LG O1),
278MB ram (should make it 512MB min much like LG O1),
shining crome part at the side of the phone, looks cheap and fingerprint magnet( I prefer the crome part at LG O1),
lack of full flash 10 on browser,
old version of google aps out of the box, Market, Map all old version (can be upgraded through market),

I thought out of the box is froyo 2.2 only?? Then 2.2.1 can root??

Yea only got black and white color available. hehe. about the 2.3 i not sure. android newbie

not suitable to compare both phone.. coz both phone not at the same level..
samsung vibrant specs is like samsung galaxy S.. which is should categorize as high-end phone..

if ur budget below RM1k.. for low-end phone.. Galaxy Ace specs is better than other low-end phone..
if ur budget more than RM1k.. than u should not look at Galaxy Ace coz mid-end phone specs should be more better..

Any ways to disable data? Just wan to call and sms
