I think one of the biggest challenge for majority collectors is the shelfing or place to display the collection items. Anyone manage to find a way to solve this? Standard IKEA racks are just too fragile to withstand the weight or dimension of the CE. Am trying to find inspiration here

it's a little bit larger than the collectors guide. i hate them. why can't just they maintained a standard size. it's hard to arrange with different size.

Struggling to find a suitable place to put most collections. Now mostly in box or scattered around the house. Tried placing most book on a ikea shelf the middle wood panel almost pecah into half I dont know about most collectors, but the boxes are the one that occupied most of the space, especially if you are into hot toys or figs. Luckly I am still at entry level

I have seen several display choice by collectors online, like some who place everything into an Ikea detolf. However I find it too crowded and makes the focus between each collection diluted of its staged attention. If given a choice, i would like to give ample spacing between each CE (100mm) and proper lighting effects to bring out the exclusivity of each CE. May it be game and hot toys/ figurines. Of course, the biggest obstacles will still always be $$ and space in the house

Well, I tend keep them intact in boxes. Never plan to display my collections in a shelf.

Even a scratch or dust on them will hurts my heart till I cannot sleep well for a few nights. XD

Kekeke, I can understand the bold part. Especially for some rare game CE after all the hardwork obtaining it, to unbox and use the CE just didnt cross my mind. The value are also higher for MISB units compare to BIB. However my challenges are when i started on some hot toys figurines like Metal Gear Rex by ThreeA and Kotobukiya Tekken statues. We cant see the statues in detail if they are boxed. And to display them without a proper shelf is undesirable and dust is a factor. Shaking my head on this headache now. Still looking for a reliable contractor to build a tempered glass display shelfing but couldnt find any reputable one yet.

Anyway I just want to say "KICK ASS ITEMS" you have there mate. From console to DS controller to game to CE to the OST to calender cards and other collector's items for Tales of Xililia. Thumbs up, pants down Just curious, does the CE comes with the Milla Maxwell statue? Link

Yeap. Pushed me into deficit for few weeks Self inflicted poison lol. But i started collecting other PVC statue and figurines because of Rex. Dont plan to keep a lot, just few detail selected pvc statue to be placed beside the game CE. TBH, mostly game ladies statue. Honesty is the best policy.

Now i see this thread with the active game ce discussion, i need antidote. Fast!

Jp CEs are stingy than us/eu CEs.
You can compare some games which has eng localized and you can see the difference.
us/eu ver will give out artbooks and figurines and with a more reasonable price than jp vers.
In jp, they tend to sold most of the goodies (eg OSTs, figurines, Artbooks) separately.
More over, the price for their goods is much mooooore expensive than us/eu.
