Wet kitchen floor tiles should have higher slip resistance and thus try to get the matt, structured or lapatto (sp?) finish.  In my opinion, matt finish is good enough as it is easier to maintain and offer enough slip resistance when wet.  If you want to go cheap, get the china, Vietnam etc tiles and some are around RM12 for 2x2. For my wet kitchen, I opted for Niro Granite Balsatina series which is around RM25 for 2x2. I also like their Charmed series. These are the newer series that you may not seen in their web site.  I also checked out the Guecera, MML, White Horse but settled for Niro.
