hi , i considering of getting either dell streak 5 or htc trophy .

what i usually do with my phone ..
1)internet browsing
2)social networking
3)youtube
4)games
5)take still photos .

what im looking forward in a phone ...
1)screen customization
2)easy to download apps
3)nice colour display
4)smooth inferface - like iphone orientation etc


why dell ? cause of the huge display .

why trophy ? cause of games ?

please suggest other htc models if you like . no tablet please . its too big already .

also , android or windows phone 7 , which is better ?

ive been using iphone 3g for almost 2 years . so there is much customization and its so boring . no intention of getting iphone 4 cause the iOS is the same.

budgeting around rm1k.

i like android too ..but its not as stylish as wp7 .

btw , does wp7 and android has many games as iphone ??? i have not use wp7/ android yet . and also , alot of them are free ? can be " jailbroken " ?

ok , im a just a moderate phone savvy.
1st , who suggested n8 ? that is a high-end smartphone and based on your needs , n8 is like a " computer " . n8 functions is much more than that ( speciality = 12MP camera , superb display screen altho not the best but still very very nice ) . it basically substitute netbooks out there but just that it smaller only .
. and if you are using call/sms and gps only . u are using like less than 3% of the phone functions .



most smartphone ( around rm700 ) also have gps already . with that price , you can get any touchscreen smartphone nokia or garmin asus phone ( specialise in gps ). good luck .

p/s i brought a real gps device for my UK holiday trip . dunno why . haha

lol ...i dont think it will be cheap even with plan . plus , he only using it for like 1 year + ???

i brought the gps device for rm800 + additional maps ( UK ) . So total around rm 900 . this gps i can use it for free . back in malaysia , also can use . but i would not recomend an expensive real gps device since i only use it when i go overseas travelling which so far happened once in 2 years . lol.
around rm300 , you get the basic gps .....not that great but still will take you there ...
those expensive one are also not that great - music playback , photo viewer , bluetooth etc which i think it completely useless . you wont use .

im not sure about nokia these days since ive been using iphone .
but i suggest a touchscreen phone ( if possible 3.5"+ screen ) .....screen like E72 will definitely give you a hard time reading the gps . even my 4.3 " gps device also i find it small cause when you are driving in unusual place , u gonna need as much clear info route on your gps .

yea , i agree.... overall get a moderate phone which has gps device . there are so many phones with gps nowadays .... have you try samsung ? they are compactible with nokia too . but i prefer nokia more when comes to gps .

how much is SAMSUNG INFUSE 4G ?

thought of getting it instead of trophy ....any ideas ?

i almost wanted to get the other day then my friends go and kacau me ...told me " eh wait la , samsung got nice phone leh coming out "... they say trophy and dell is not the best ...... i was like ish.... make me dilemma ...so i hang on lo

then i saw youtube got new samsung phone " infuse 4g" .....the screen damn big + super oled display .... i want that oo...


btw , do you know any phone have nice screen colour screen + big screen? please state the price too if possible .thanks.

want to get sony xperia play . is it recommended ? what type of games available ? is it the same as APP store ? alot of trials ?

i able to get AP for 900 . but should i go for Ori still ?

after i trade in my iphone , can get xperia play for 900. should i get the AP or Ori ? i scare easily rosak la for AP . lol

they sell the xperia play around rm1300+ . so i trade in my 16gb 3g .
my net total is 900 for AP .

if AP warranty , i just go back to the shop to claim only ma . its ok wad ... i dun see anything wrong since its the same quality as Ori .
