It only have Enclair Android 2.1 with rumours that it would be provided with Gingerbread 2.3. blush.gif

1. Brand - HTC, LG, Samsung, SE
2. Budget - RM800 and below
3. Specs - WIFI, GPS, Flash support, Android, Bluetooth, touchscreen
4. Type/Size - Any

Question:
For flash support, what is limiting it? Due to hardware(ARM6 and below) or OS(2.1 eclair and below) or both?

As a non Android User, here is that i think about it: Froyo is Android 2.2 and Gingerbread is Android 2.3.

This means to me like the Android 2.3 should have better performance, extra feature and fixed bugs found in Android 2.2.

for me, the most important version upgrade is 2.2
full flash support+ desktop-like browser performance, tethering, apps to use external memory to install apps etc.

before the 2.2 era, HTC make its own way & able to make flash support on browser
but if i not wrong, it just flash lite..

as for 2.2 above, hardware may limits & flash aren't supported like Optimus One, Galaxy 5 etc. which has at least v2.2 but no flash around

x10/ace > optimus one

x10/ace oso no flash though, but upcoming 2.3 update for x10 might bringing full flash support as well hmm.gif i not sure la

no wildfire plz, low screen resolution hence limited apps support, camera bad, however it got flash support lol [not full]

acer liquid metal will be a good choice, it comes with very low price [1.1~1.2k?] with decent hardwares [800mhz proc, wvga screen so can support more than 90% apps out there]
but if u looking for good camera, i dun think tis is a good choice >.>

if u going to buy a phone with contract, arc rm1499 if u sign maxis 24 month or incredible S rm1199 if sign digi 24month

Nokia's C5-03 screen is big enough for you? It is within your budget range with the price tag of around Rm550 like that.
