i dont really like the design of n8, arc is great, but i prefer neo, as it is cheaper and has a young-looking design. But im wondering, is neo out yet in malaysia?

3. Specs: wifi,prefer "big" size phone(unlike x10mini),touchscreen(looking for touch screen sensitivity NEAR with ipod touch,i have tried SE X10 touch screen and i don't like it compared to my ipod touch touch screen)

no such price range fon can near to the ipod touch lah bro...
eithier increase ur budget to 1k+ or lower ur requirement for the touch

Put your price range slightly higher around RM600-RM700, I would introduce you ZTE Blade.
China-brand phone, however, it was one of the best-selling smartphones in UK's market (launched as "Orange San Francisco" in UK)
It has features almost close to HTC Wildfire S(which may cost you around RM1k) :

Hmm.. I can't think of any Sony non-touch sreen atm but if touch screen I would recommend Samsung or HTC within your budget.

I don't recommend Sony because as a Sony user for 6 years, it was not that user friendly as the device hangs frequently..

I am thinking Xperia X10 about your requirement. Doesn't need to visit phone shop frequently? Don't play around with the rooting or whatever software modding and the risk for you to enter phone shop again is lower. Most importantly, go for original for quality assurance.

I don't think thin or thick is the issue, but the width is an issue due to the screen size.
