Next month ?? Then xperia neo/pro as well ?
I read that neo and pro is more of mid range phone ?
If so, i should wait. 1 month is worth the wait.
All the new phones announced at MWC2011 are just pure attractive, design wise, spec wise  drool.gif

Not sure about the SE mid range phones release price.

However, based on its specification, it might be above your budget.

you can always buy a 3rd party battery biggrin.gif but not right out of the box

Oops, overstated about that.

Anyway, Sunglobal's battery packaging is not bad after all for a fraction of the original battery's price.

i love sgs2 new s.amoled Plus & 2mp front cam.
also it should comes with gbread..
just not sure if 4.3" is too big or not

Hey guys, mind helping me to shortlist some phones?

1. Brand: Any except Motorola/Samsung/Huawei (okay with AP)
2. Budget: About RM 800 or about RM600 (not sure which budget between this two that I'm allowed)
3. Specs: WiFi, cam at least 3.0 megapix
4. Type/Size: Any

Actually, BlackBerry intrigues me very much but don't want to commit to its data plan charges. And so, I've been wanting to change my SE W300i to something better to last for another few years. I'm thinking of Nokia E71 but would like to have more options to choose from smile.gif

- Wanting to have the accessibility to the internet whenever I capture images to post up in Facebook/tumblr/etc.
- Preferably with QWERTY keyboard

Anyone can help to recommend any phones, you think that are suitable for me? Thank you smile.gif

Hmm, any smartphones with 3G capability should be able to connect to the internet with ease. You just have to subscribe to a data plan to prevent bill shock.

Have you considered about Nokia E5?

If you are willing to wait for about another 6 months or more like that, maybe the price drop within your budget range.

Can try to hunt for the used Samsung Galaxy 5 used set, but it might be slightly above your budget depending on your luck and hunting skills.

Above 1K still ok, 1.5k most though.
Budget matters, but i always purchase things that worth the value of money.
Maybe 1.5k, xperia neo/pro really worth it, then i will consider or even wait.
Have to wait 1 more month for the pricing for neo though.

Depending on the person. For me, the N97 mini keyboard makes me type slower when compared to the Nokia 5800 virtual keyboard. It is a subjective matter and depend much on the user.

SE Xperia Arc is not within in his budget range and have to wait for a very long time. It would be a shocking.gif news if SE release it for the similar price like N8.

If arc like n8 price, sure big hits, 1 word, sapu !
But real thin hope on that. Good os + spec.
However i do think before that, If Arc 2k, SGS2 with much better spec will be how much ? Maybe high high end price.

Just like i say, we have high expectation because there are better phones compared to the Xperia X10, HTC wildire and etc. just pity those who have spent 2k+ to buy that phone.

Just buy according your needs. These new phone's price won't remain the same as time goes by. No point spending money like that.

Yea, make sense. Things will only degrade. But for those who can spend 2k on a phone, mayb they don't really mind.
Like my friend who own a iphone 4, 2k for him really is like RM500 for me >.<

Guys,

Brand: Nokia *NEW*
Budget: cheapest
Type: candybar
Spec: I just need a phone for video call my mum since i moved away from hometown. My mom is well versed with Nokia only. She won't use any complex function except to call. I wish to video call her more often. I am not asking for the cheapest and best. The cheapest video call phone will be more expensive than the normal phone.
