QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 23 2011, 12:44 PM) Right on. The nexus one was also my first android phone. After using it, the iphone3GS than seem so " useless" and unimaginative. It was also way ahead of WM 6.5. Others follow after that - galaxy s, hd2 ( android ), htc desire just a short 2 weeks stint, and dell streak . The nexusone i considered is still the best android phone i have use. At one time nearly bought Nexus S but due to budget constrains, decided to try out a tablet the Galaxy Tab the Galaxy Tab priced higher than Nexus S! and u'll be one of the earliest to get SGS II .. and yeah I also considered nexus one as the best android phone I ever use and galaxy S as the worse after xperia x10. yet i still find out myself here in galaxy S 2 thread.. hopefully no more blackout problem |

last time when SGS first launch, people complained a lot when seeing youtube videos. but most of them believed it just a matter of changing home screen.
but in fact, the file system is the one that makes SGS buggy like heck. so I'm not really sure changing launcher will fix SGS2 .. |

QUOTE(Andrew Lim @ Feb 24 2011, 01:46 PM) Yup, now that you mention it, that is pretty bad. Hope they fix it. Wished they'd remove their god-awful TouchWiz "enhancements". it's not the touchwiz.. the problem lies deeper than the interface alone.. the file system.it's too soon to speak. hopefully there will be other countries to get the device first. so we'll know the pros n cons. and although i'm a frequent visitor of xda, i'm not keen on depending heavily on developers alone. |

QUOTE(Boomeraangkid @ Mar 2 2011, 04:38 PM) maybe because ur eye also lagging.. just kidding bro well it's a bit slow.. but the worst thing i hate on my SGS last time was the black screen halt when changing / moving from apps.. when i first bought, aroudn 1sec, then it became worse, until 5secs.. sigh~ and i can see that in all sgs 2 video so far. perhaps we should be positive and let more people have the phones first before jumping into any conclusion |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 6 2011, 06:38 PM) The NexusOne is the BEST android phone I have used. I have tried ( only briefly my friends other androids too - few HTC, Sony Xperia ). I have regretted selling it. Than I wanted a bigger screen as 3.7" was just too small. Actually I strongly advise whoever is having this should not sell and hope to look for a better one. I find in terms of performance even the DHD has to fight hard to match it. I don't think any current single core can match it 'Sell it if you want to upgrade to dual core true! but i can safely say nexus S is a worthy successor of nexus one!! |
