Performance aside, why would you want to stream 8 tabs of HD videos at the same time? Do u have 8 pairs of eyes to watch all 8 videos at the same time? lol. People don't even normally do that on PC. Heck, i don't even stream more than 2 videos at once. Even if the processor can handle it, i doubt your internet speed is going to be able to handle it.

in that case, then i think u can open all tabs, and let it pause and stream in background. then play one after another, shouldnt be a problem

Haha who want to buy thru Clove through me? Im in singapore now, at most i will only eat 7% GST, pay at doorstep when DHL send to me. Then when i go back KL i can COD with u people in KL/Selangor/JB area lo. Will charge some service fee la, at least no SIRIM + other tax bullshit. 7% of 440 about RM150 only.

Shipping is 29 pounds for first phone, add 4 pounds for subsequent number of phones. So the more people buy in 1 go, the cheaper the shipping become!


Assuming only buy 1 phone, 469 pounds total.

1. If go thru Malaysia custom have to add SIRIM + Other shit tax probably RM300 and time consuming.

2. If go thru me, Singapore custom only charge 7% of total price which is about 30 pounds = RM 150.


Edit - Maybe i should start a small bulk of like 5 phones from clove. I charge maybe RM 50 service fee per phone la. How does it sound?

For those who are worried about when i'm going back KL, don't worry, i will be able to go back anytime, at most within 1 week after receiving the phones

I have personally bought 3 units of Desire HD from Clove before last time, the credit card is my own, my singapore address, so there won't be any problem with the address verification, if they want proof, i have everything ready also. As of now, i already e-mailed them to ask if i can get additional discount or at least some freebies if i buy in bulk.

@Oldkyoo, assuming i can gather at least 5 people to buy. The cost per unit will be as following.

£440 + £9 shipping = £449 (The £9 is derived over a total shipping of £45 for 5 phones, so 1 person pay £9 only)
At singapore, 7% GST will be charged. Which is 1.07x 449 = £481

So the cost to reach Singapore is £481 = RM 2500 (@5.2 exchange rate)
i charge RM50 fee per phone (can COD at Cyber/Selangor/KL/JB). So the total price you need to pay is RM2550 roughly.

As for the time you can get the phone, i can assure you u can get it within 1week after it reach singapore. (not after release, i don't know how long will DHL take to ship from UK to Singapore but i am positive there wont be any sort of custom hold up)

That's the only problem, i might need quite a lot of deposit because i might not have enough funds to place full order, maybe 50% or something along the line, I think RM1k is the minimum in this case. If people are serious, i will start a bulk thread with a proper T&C in it.

Nope, no estimate, clove said Q2 so that's the best that we know, probably april or may, i won't be too optimistic.

anyway just an update, i have received an email from clove, they said that :

1. We can get additional discount if we buy in bulk but they did not state how much. So i'll e-mail them again to ask after i have the exact number.
2. The pre-order price is not finalized but will be close to the current estimate, in the event of price changes (i.e: price increase) last minute, we will be given a choice again to confirm whether or not to pay for the new price. So it will be safe.

Its not £50 increase. It's £70 (RM350) increase over the previous price lol. I think i can cancel my bulk as well, since i'm sure everybody will rather wait for local set if this is the case.
