Got a few queries today asking whether SGS2 is using S-AMOLED or SLCD.
My guess is more people tends to get mixed up Samsung models with HTC models lately

it seems there are 2 versions, they arent mistaking Samsung models with HTC models

The 2 versions rumour is caused by an ambiguity on Samsung's website. Not confirmed whether there are actually SLCD units.

After my bad experience with the Galaxy S , I am still giving Samsung a second chance and order one. I'd say the lag in the UI can be easily overcome - just replace it with ADW or Launcher Pro or Zeam. It makes a lot of difference. The Samsung TAB also same problem - Samsung just cannot match HTC in their UI slickness and smoothness. On the TAB I replace it with Zeam now - world of difference. Anyway all these while I never like Samsung Touch Wiz UI - it is so handicapped in features

that means u gave samsung 2 times... sgs and the sg tab

i think tegra will be better because lots of games is restricted to Tegra only.

so the rumors about SGS II having Tegra + SLCD is true? then i wont take the Tegra if this news is true..SAMOLED+ is my main reason for going to SGSII..

We will never know what will we have in our region officially. The probabilty is higher on exynos n samoled. Anyway either is fine with me as display is not so important and i don't play games

can I have tegra with super amoled screen??
still struggle between sgs 2 and atrix..don't know which one to get..

hopefully..how do we check whether it is samoled or sqlcd?

as i know SGS II no SLCD version right ?? only processor different ( exynos or tegra ) ....

actually i dont understand bloody heck, why would they want to switch to super lcd???? its the main selling point.

if next year they still tell the same bullshit, its obvious they refuse to open a new production centre, and giving excuses that apple is using alot of their production sources is bullshit.
every production company will have its limits of producing for other companies, they too have to keep stock for themselves.

by then it would have been 2 years they refuse to open up.... as if u claim ur display is best yet u dont want to expand ur production line. rubbish, but when ROK need ur robots, u immediately open another production facility.

But samsung didn mentioned will use SLCD screen. All RUMORS only. And also samsung didn mentioned 2 different version will use different type screen right ?? SGS using Super Amoled, now SGS II will use SLCD ??
