It's a bit learn oriented but it's no doubt a great & free software. The settings, you can do whatever you want. But to get the best result, you need to know WHAT do you want with your encodes (ie: size? quality? codec change? )

Marvelous encoder. Oh by the way, it uses a number of open-source engines like x264 for all the work.
