hi abang abang sekalian, upcoming newbie vios owner here. getting my G limited in another 2 weeks time.

wanna survey for window tint to plan my expenditure when i get my car. any suggestion? heard solar film & v kool (obviously & expensive) are good.

any specs that i need to look out for? heat reduction & smart tag/gps signal friendly too. thanks!

the headlights are too dim... i changed to philips xtreme vision... a bit better
the remote i read from the card is to press and hold 2 sec... at first i thought remote spoil... press press still cannot unlock

vkool memang got problem with GPS... always lost signal

wah cant use GPS at all? how much does ur window tint cost?

my City VTEC using Vkool also got problems with GPS, every time want to get a signal, need to wind down the window and put outside
when get a signal, bring into the car, signal gone again

so my dugong, i use Agard, GPS no problem, cheaper some more

wow expensive ! i dont think i have that much budget to go for V kool. Dried up after buying car

btw any of you can let me know how the immobilizer in the alarm system works? does this mean the car cannot be started if the alarm was not disarmed?

Popopi, isn't it the brand new car need to go for 1000km before you can go high speed? Why you so fast go until 170km/h already one?

i think my bro Vios also having the same issue, but his only happens in the afternoon.. after a few time complaining to the SC he got it solved... i think what they told them is that a screw is gotten loose in the dashboard...
now no more issue with it
hmm my new Vios J comes with a 185 profile... i wonder how that's gonna fair? my previous Vios is on 195.... wonder if i should change it to 195 or just stay with 185 until it wears out...

today i just connect my Android to AUX port n the speaker really horible..like to blow....when using USB device, the speaker not like this..... but using earphone on my android, sound really nice boom boom...hahaha
maybe i should change speaker after this....

was thinking about getting the G-limited but as you said.. they so far only have fibre type... so maybe go with the mainstream and get the Sportivo instead..
today going to survey some shop again...
at first i also think the same but it looks a bit bulky with the G-limited body kit..

NO!!! dont tell me that the improvement model they removed the auto-lock!! i think thats a really nice features for Vios... i really like it alot...
so is there anyway to have the features back on? i never knew about the removing of the autolock... will see what my SA know about this because he never informed me abt it and its not listed in the improvement catalog... or is it? hmmm

got my G-limited almost a month d, so far so GOOD. Hate the facelift, now all vios will look similar to mine

and maybe will take my car for a waxing near Taman Selasih there (near Cour Mammoth) seems like a nice job they did to a car last time i saw them.

just wanna ask... in there any way to remove scratches on the glove box compartment on the hard plastic part?

on my previous vios i have tons of scratches on the glove compartment and the area before the scuff plate... as photo below..



try to avoid such problem with my current vios.. still trying to find a way to protect it.. maybe a chrome cover maybe..

i just do mine, covered with carbon sticker...cannot go with silver color at dashboard...bought from acc shop

hi guys...happy today went to polish my car and covered all those scratches..but unfortunately there are still some part which already too deep that cant cover ..anyway..now my car looks like brand new shine ..atleast i understand more about car detailing after i went to this shop at bandar puteri puchong "Craft Crew", coz the boss explained to me alots of thing lol..RM168 wash, vacum , engine , polish , wax and scrub with sand paper for those deep scratches..



but there's something sad..when they gona wash my engine part..and i discovered the "clip" to hang my Bonnet steel was missing...i guess this is the problem that make the noise "dok dok dok" sound out from my bonnet which happen after i service / changed battery last 2 weeks ..any bro can tell me where can i buy the clip and how much it worth??(scared of kena cut kepala) otherwise i will need to remove the "steel" and put back when i open my bonnet always...   thx bro..
