Guys, seems like many would like to have the AUX in function available on their ori Fujitsu Ten HU. Basically Toyota does not sell seperate Aux cable is because they only have the main harness which connects volume control with Aux together, since UMW doesnt bother including that (maybe due to cost cutting options) thus no seperate cables are available.
Ok after some research here is how i conclude this with two options
first option would be patching wires to the cable plug harness that has steering volumn control(the plug most left), that would be abit too risky for some. Mainly i see that we can use either TRS or TRRS to do the patching. TRS would take 4wires while TRRS would use up to 5wires.
second option would be using cd changer port as some forumers mention to 'trick' the player into using external media drive as the additional CD. But that is abit too pricey in terms of pricing.
i am thinking maybe you guys can try out the second option but its not using external media drive but using Aux in.
CD Changer port <------>Aux
this seems like a more budget approach. I try ask from my supplier if they have this, it should cost about rm120-rm150 for the cable harness.
Here's the port connections if anyone interested to DIY. Borrowing donovan1986's picture:
IF 2nd option is available. please make a bulk buy... I want 1....
