Either change to OEM head unit or change to branded head unit. and if change to branded head unit, if we are willing to pay for another RM100, they can help us to fabricate the cable with original toyota socket to use our steering control. whole process no need to cut any of our original wire.

Hi guys, I am going to Penang BM Fadason to have my second service, going to complain about funny sound 'tik tak tik tak' on my steering. Has anyone facing this problem before?

Mind to share your car service experience there? Thanks.

Hi there... seems like there is another empty slot there at the headunit. I have browse thru some Thailand website and there is this unit where u plug in to get USB & Aux & Bluetooth unit to that particular empty slot, it comes together with a remote too.... Problem is.. not sure how real this information is. have to give a drive to thailand maybe?

you can find also this in youtube by searching "DIY USB Vios" icon_rolleyes.gif
and looks like malaysia acc store no sell this stuffs.

anyway, will keep on researching.

best if can get the schematics or manual of the player so that we know what's the empty port for... too bad can't find any cos the Toyota stockist say it's brandless, made in Malaysia doh.gif
