actually for LCD screen, the power usage difference between black or white is almost the same.. some would claim that a white background is actually better as the display doesn't need to block any backlight..

of coz, a static background saves a lot more juice compared to live wallpaper

still need to use carbon fibre w/paper ah..? becuase i'm not prefer that.. another tips..?

i have tested white wallpaper and black wallpaper numerous of times and i can confirm the black 1 consume the least

Today just got my unit replaced after my complain reaches Taiwan HQ. They immediately called me to check whats wrong.

They serviced my phone but not satisfied, so survey sent to me, as per my knowledge survey all are received by HQ 1. So i wrote an essay at empty box. Then things gone well from there, till shah alam Team lead called me to get my phone to SC.

After 3 days they called me back and inform me can exchange 1 to 1

for LCD technology, black or white or any other colors, they consume the same amount of energy to emit the light..
some ppl claimed that white is more efficient on LCD, which is already proven wrong..

try goto fieldtest app on your DHD to test your display, leave it all white for a while, and note the battery level drained,
then do it the same amount of time for black color and mark the battery consumption again..
they should be close, if not the same..

color doesn't conserve much/any of your battery on LCD panel, brightness does
