Barcelona would pay 27M+13M variables. Last discussions about variables. [source: sport]

Apparently this is our last offer. If Udinese reject it, most probably we will try Mata instead.

So many minds games with sanchez transfer. Mancity then barca then MU. The price keep changing LOL.

Mata would be great actually. Mata - Messi - Pedro? tongue.gif Messi's gonna change from his regular RW to CF more often hehe

pastore?? he is kaka type right... while sanchez is more to CR type..  which one is better??? or matta? or even aguero????

Sanchez ! his workrate, speed etc suits our system.

Aguero is good, but his natural pos is CF while we need a winger.

27M + 13M bonus is a fair price since Andy Caroll cost 35M laugh.gif

hopefully we`ll finalized the deal before citeh come sabo again doh.gif

Belletti has announced his retirement officially. Surely he'll be remembered among Cules for this goal. I got goosebumps everytime I watched the video.

Thank you for everything Belletti!! notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Some report already suggest that Chelsea may consider hijacking our deal as well. Don't know whether its true or not la.

Ceara, a Brazilian club. He signed the contract just a week ago iinm. But his latest injury forced him to retire. Before that he was with Fluminense, didn't make much impact there either, also because of injury.

I'm so anxious that barcelona have yet to sign a star player... It seems that the club really2 need a big amount of transfer money for their star player.. It's crazy, and we are not like City or Chelsea who are willing to splash their money for players...

But I have faith in Pep.. Even with small squad we managed to succeed..

My prophecy is Cesc will be signed thru bosman ruling when he is out of contract rclxm9.gif .. So arsenal should not be too greedy regarding his transfer fee icon_rolleyes.gif

Or else cesc will join his previous team mate like Flamini

i just wonder why barca seems like so desperate to land fabregas.. it is so expensive to land our home-grown player... doh.gif

we already have thiago, so why dont we use him first as a backup for xavi? maybe fabregas style of play is more similiar to xavi i guess.. but, is it so desperately to land fabs? i dont think so.... as for me, we better seek for puyol replacement since his career is nearing to end.. his injury is the biggest issue so far.. so, what say u guys?? icon_question.gif

as for sanchez, city already pull put from the race to land him.. so, barca might have a big chance to land him.. go for it barca!!! thumbup.gif

Quoted from Sid Lowe's latest article:

QUOTE
The reasoning, from which all else stems, boils down to a simple fact: right now Cesc Fabregas is a priority for Guardiola and right now Thiago is not.

Meaning, Cesc can be thrown into first team action straight away, while Thiago is pretty much still under grooming process. I always prefer him to follow Pedro/Busquets route, rather than rushed route like Bojan/Giovanni took.

is this a question or what??? each yr competition among elite team becoming more competitive n more... by adding the new quality star player, we will ensure we can retain or at least challenge for the biggest honour in the world...

ur not wrong to wish for a star player but remember who one of our key player is,
busquets and pedro. they were not stars..

i hope that thiago shows the same patience as iniesta did.
iniesta had to accept the super sub role for many years.

messi will always gets the blame even though he is trying to play midfielder and attacker at the same time.
just because he isn't a local boy like tevez and others.

I think he did great. The problem is as you said, he was forced to be their Xaviniesta. He had to be the creative creator. Sure he has the creativity, but what he doesn't have is the consistency to do it for 90 minutes. With Barca he is allowed to drift out occasionally, because our midfield help circulate the ball around.

With Argentina his teammates ALWAYS look for him. He has never been a player who can dictate play for the whole match.

Messi is not the same as when he play with barca... barca have at least 2 playmaker behind messi success... but in argentina, messi is pushing so hard without enuf backup like he always get in barca....hurm....

More good news rclxms.gif

Fontas promoted!

FC Barcelona has informed Andreu Fontàs that he will be playing with the first team in the 2011/12 season. His buy-out clause will be automatically raised to 30 million euros.

As well as this raise, Andreu Fontàs, who has a contract until 2012, will also be automatically extended to June 30, 2013.

Andreu Fontàs, a regular in Luis Enrique’s Barça B, was temporarily promoted to the first team on March 16, 2011 to provide cover for Éric Abidal, who had been diagnosed with a liver tumour. Fontàs continued working with Josep Guardiola until the end of the season and appeared in eight games. But he had already made his first team debut in the 2009/10 league campaign against Sporting Gijón at the Camp Nou (3-0).

Andreu Fontàs joined the club from Girona in 2007. He played in the youth team for a season, and for Barça B for two and a half years before moving up to the first team.
