QUOTE(xandras @ Mar 4 2011, 03:06 PM) Added on March 4, 2011, 4:06 pmI'm intrested to mod my exhaust system, but I'm noob in exhaust system, i would like to have a system that: 1.Provide low rpm power without decrease max speed 2.Increase hp 3.Better FC 4.I'm not prefer to have the loud sporty sound, prefereble like original stock. is that nessasary to increase the pipe dimameter for better performance, increase the tail pipe will big and generate loud sporty sound, if i alter the tail pipe to twin pipe is it equal to the one pipe in big diameter. Any sifu can have suggetion. This post has been edited by ngeo88: Mar 4 2011, 04:06 PM |

QUOTE(xandras @ Mar 6 2011, 09:31 PM) Many reasons. I don't know the petrol tank cap got sensor, is it real it can make the engine light on if the cap not close properly ? 1. Your petrol tank cap isn't fully locked. (Most Likely) 2. O2Sensor problem. 3. ECU problem. (2nd Most Likely) 4. Any sensors in ur engine might have a prob. Check whether ur fuel cap is properly locked, switch off ur engine for a few hours tonight, start ur car tomoro morning & see if the engine light is still on. If it is, bring it to the nearest SC & have them to do a ECU diagnosis for u. |

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Mar 7 2011, 05:41 PM) That depends on your car. While I can't confirm whether you can find this in a Proton Persona but on my car, there are ODBII error codes related to what he said. My car will even show the check engine light if I forgot to put the fuel cap back on when it detects an evaporative leak. It sound fully monitoring for fuel tank, What is your car anyway ?P0451 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Performance Problem P0452 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input P0453 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input P0456 EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Very Small Leak) P0457 EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Cap Loose/Off) |

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Mar 7 2011, 09:29 PM) Synthetic but not fully? Sounds like semi-syn to me. Nice marketing from Shell. The Ultra above the HX-7 is fully while the HX5/3 below it is mineral. That just leaves the HX-7 nicely at the semi-syn category. Added on March 7, 2011, 9:31 pm Those codes are from my Subaru ECU Explorer. |

I have doubt on the problem if changing tiers to lower profile or rim to bigger diameter will affect the actual km/h reading, it also means that our mileage meter reading will never provide accurate reading. Exp: we suppose to change lube each 5k km but since the meter not accurate we can't count just to add 5000 to existing mileage.
The average fuel L/100km also not accurate any more, because ECU use the mileage meter reading and fuel level to calculate the average fuel consumption. Is it why many people have different comment on FC after changing rim and tiers. |
