ford SC = proton SC
Hi,
We all know that all cars have problems. My City have rattling sound for more than 2 years, the driver sit has rattling sound from day 1 until the day i sell off the car.
Why I don;t get it is, people are biased because of brand. I admit I was. If you asked me if I were to buy Persona , or saga, I would definitely says no. And I am biased towards Toyota as well. I surveyed all the cars within budget that I have, and compared, proton is a value for money car. After much research, I found out that yes, there are some problems. I can list down for you as well for Inspira. I can list down some problems for you for Civic, Fiesta...we all do research. But the main thing is the engine and it's critical component such as gearbox. All other issues are fixable, sounds, assembly issue....that is just minor and can be fixed. But people, once they got this....such as piilar cover not properly fixed, they make accusation because it is proton, must be lemon car, because it is proton. My previous city's passenger door is not properly aligned, my dashboard need to be dismantle again and again for 2 straight years.....leave the car there overnight, even the SC people use my car to go out without telling me (I take down the meter reading before i left there, an additional of 60km when I got my car back) but huh, it's ok, because it is not proton, it's Honda, not a lemon car? SC still better than Proton? Yes?
So yea, i feel ya when your car have problem. The only thing we can do is either complain and have patience in getting it fixed, or just live with it
Good luck to you.
