lol. Even though The apostle Paul chose to be a celibate, he wasn't exempted from life temptations like all of us. He has desires that burns like you and I have, brother. But He chose to completely Trust God, that is the difference. It gave him contentment and peace.

Having Faith is not only about acting on things.

It is also coming to a place of rest and not worry about your problem.

But you said you cannot rest and you're not going to sit there and you must do something about it.

Somehow you're being very obvious about this restlessness.

Well I've said it and I say it again.

Until you come to a place of submission and trusting God to the point of not needing this desire, you may probably not get what you want.

Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.


Christ is indeed the end of the Old Covenant.

Start looking towards Christ instead of relying on your own confidence in obedience. Because relying on your self confidence in obedience is under the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant is obsolete.

The Law makes you focus on yourself. Your lack of performance or the abundance of it. Either way, both are not accepted before God to be boast about. (Romans 3:27, Ephesians 2:9)

Grace makes you focus on Jesus. The Bible says we are transformed by Beholding Jesus, into the same image.

Believe that you are Righteous by your Faith, not by your works.

This is key. Obedience is the fruit not the root under the New Covenant.

Obedience will come when you know you are righteous by Faith.

The Holy Spirit will nudge you and remind you to obedience once you understand
you are justified by Faith.

At times if you rarely meet with Christian Friends in your daily life, can be a challenge to keep yourself focus in the Lord.

Erm, that link provided by Skydrake pretty much cover the difference.

There are a few things in Catholicism which I know of.

1. They have extra books in the Bible (canons or Apocrypha) which the Protestant discarded due to historical inaccuracies, fables and contradictions like the book of Tobit which emphasize works or self effort which contradict the meaning of grace in the book of Romans.

2. They believe in Prayer of the Saints and to Mary.

3. They consider Mary as the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven's Saint.

4. They believe Sin can be absolve through confessions to priests.

5. Very Ritualistic and the religious practise like burning of incense, basically it's very religion base as oppose to relationship base.

6. They believe in a temporary Heaven call purgatory

7. They believe the Pope is the supreme Authority in the Body of Christ

8. They believe Salvation need to be attained through works.

9. They have laws like Canon law (Catholics), Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), 10 commandments, papal decrees and orders.

10. Can't think of any more, <feel free to add>


These are the few things that I believe does not fall in line with the Gospel of Christ.

Because I've always emphasize this which the RCC seem to ignore, The Gospel of Christianity is really about God's begotten son. The main story in the Old Testament and New Testament is about the love, grace and the redemption of Jesus Christ and No one else.

Some of the RCC revered the saint and mary to a divine state and is almost put side by side along with Jesus Christ. Of course some may say they are treated as secondary channel or backup to speed up the process of prayer but I find that hard to reconcile to the scripture. It's not there.

But never the less they are still Christians. There are charismatic/protestant Catholics who broke away from RCC. The key difference are doctrines and practises.

We shouldn't distance ourselves from Catholics as they are still our brother and sisters in Christ as well. We love them as our own.

At best, try to avoid condemning them, but walk with love.

Only be careful of the difference of doctrines. That's all.

There's a misconception there about this.

if you read up Pehkay's devotion, he mentioned, God can remove his hand of grace to let us fall on purpose.

Do you know why?

So that you start looking to God for strength instead of being self confidence of your own ability.

This is very important and I hope all my friends in this thread take note, the moment things like this happens, straight away come to God

and relieve yourself of all your own abilities. Start Praying that you need to trust and rest in God more than before.

Sometimes crying out and simple prayer like, " God Help me, permit me to have a fresh revelation of the cross" is all you need.

Because the moment you start depending on God totally in spirit and in truth, He will come in and carry you and deliver his answer to your prayer.

When you say I can, God will probably let you go on your own

but When you say I cannot, God will say I can now come in and help you.

However, wisdom itself is not enough. We also need grace. If we do not have grace, we shall not have the power, strength, or energy to carry out a certain matter in the proper way. But we may have God's wisdom for our way and God's grace for our power, strength, and energy. The Man Jesus lived in God's wisdom and grace.

Praying and trusting God while you continue doing your daily work and not worrying about your circumstances IS DOING something in the eyes of God. Not worrying IS pointing your Gun shooting the Bullet at the Devil, spiritually speaking. God will work when you have submissive trust in Him.

And the Fact that your leaders or pastors who preached this same message but found their wife and even having Children is not a sign of hypocrisy.
It's a sign to tell you that God blessed and answered them and you should really learn from them how to obtain the same favour. God is a respector of no one, if He can do it for your Church Leader/Pastor, He can do it for you too.

You should see it that way instead of figuring out in your head, they did it on their own, ie to go all out to find their wife to be in their own way.
That is so disrespectful and scornful if I may add.

Yes it's nothing wrong to go out and look for a partner after prayer, I've already said it should be that way. But don't complain when things doesn't work out, pointing finger to Church bureaucracy, Or Church Girls look down on you, Church people not very supportive of you.

Why don't you stop and think for a moment, why this is happening. Perhaps God is speaking to you, you're doing it not according to his will of quiet trust.

btw 2 Corinthians 12:9 talks about total submission to God in our weaknesses. It's not talking about medical condition.

How to increase Faith.



In the book of Luke, when the apostle asked Jesus how to increase their Faith, I think the first thing a lot of people
would think is to conjure up more Faith in them. To gather more Faith in oneself is equivalent to increasing Faith. But that's not what our Lord said.

He said, If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

Jesus is saying in essence, if you want your Faith to increase, it's not about conjuring Faith in oneself but to issues command to your circumstances.

It's not always about quoting verses or prayer, though of course they are applicable but in this instance, Jesus teaches us to command.

Based on this scripture verse, we are to issue commands to our natural circumstances to change.

For example, if you have a health condition? Command it to be uprooted by it's root and be planted in the sea. Amen.

if you have financial situation, command your debts to be uprooted by it's root and be planted in the sea in Jesus Name.

I believe the reason Why the Holy Spirit mentioned to be up rooted by your roots is because when roots are remove, the whole symptoms are absolved.

God does not want Half Solutions to our problem. He wants total solutions and wholeness. Amen.

I remember a sister once asked me, how to increase Faith?

Well here is your answer. Start commanding!

Well you may say, but I have no Faith!

Sister, you just need a mustard seed Faith. It's very Small but it's enough for God to work powerfully in your commands!

Command it and believe it and you shall have it in Jesus Name.

It's a guaranteed clause as long as we never lose faith. Believe and continue to believe until it becomes natural as breathing.

Some of us while in this current life envy those who living rich lifestyle, big houses, big cars.

Well, Heaven is going to be better than that.

Because we will live without pain, loneliness nor sorrows forever in a peaceful and joyful state.

Something that we can only dream of in this life.

I know for a fact many rich people have sorrows others do not know about.
