Yes you say here, you do believe you're saved but yet at the same time from your post, in a contradicting statement you indicated you're not yet 100% saved maybe 70-80% (example only), aka hence need to be purge of impurities and you say Jesus will remove your sins when the fact of the matter is, He already has.

Brother, if you're saved, you're saved. There's no such thing as you're saved but need to be purified to be eligible to enter Heaven. It's contradicts.

The blood of Jesus has made you clean. Your works cannot. Neither can your obedience. I'm not suggesting a lifestyle of non-obedience either, there is a difference.

There's no such thing Jesus atonement only make you 90% clean and the rest of the 10% is up to your performance.

You would insult the very thing God did for all of us in his grace. Jesus work is a complete finish work.

And to say the "good" Thief rebuking is a work and therefore it gain Jesus favour? doh.gif I didn't know a thief is a good thing and I've never heard rebuking people can gain you entry into heaven.

shalom.

Bro I rest my case, I have an exam coming up in 2 hours in Tuberculosis (if you see this, pray for me smile.gif ) to be calm and wise and answer all questions well, and Thy will be done

also, I think bro misunderstood me but lets not get it over with.

What I meant was:
Other people, who, profess they believe in Jesus Christ but do nothing about it or utilise none of God's grace in their everyday lives

and

The question of entering Heaven straight or, refined by fire to really yes, purge our impurities and to remove all sadness and tears before entering Heaven, for nothing impure can enter

Have a blessed week people smile.gif

Ah so you're a medical student. ok will pray for you.

I know what you're saying, just that I've not given you a proper answer, was holding back for this. This is not a new thing in the body of Christ.

But these people need as much help as they can in the ministry.

I just say they have weak Faith and weak understanding of the gospel. It's not that they are immoral and bad. (how can you blame? we're all sinners) They just do not understand their real identity in Christ.

The Bible makes it very clear God makes us sufficient as minister of the New Covenant of Grace. (2 Corinthians 3:6) There is no grace for those who preach the Law of God (OT) aka ministry of condemnation.

Our job as ministers of Christ is not to pound them with judgement neither enforce obedience when they lack understanding but to reveal the grace of God and his Love.

See, we are transform by the renewing of our mind. (Romans 12:2) Not by our doing. You can enforce obedience but people can still remain the same. It takes the Holy Spirit to change people (not by might nor power?). You can preach to a new convert, you must do this, you must obey, you must do that, etc. What you're doing in essence is trying to fit in the last jigsaw puzzle that won't fit when God has already complete the whole picture of Salvation. You'll be hitting against the wall because you contradict the Grace of God. When you go against what God has established, you will have problem in your ministry. (2 Corinthians 3:6)

A lot of people gets afraid when one preached abundance of grace because they think under God's grace, people will live a licentious lifestyle. This is what you're saying isn't it? (well, here it is again, lack of Faith in what God has ordained).

But that's not what the Bible says in

Romans 6:14 (ESV)
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

Everything starts from the Mind and the Heart.

Right Believing will lead to right doing. Enforcing Right doing beforehand will not work in the long run because the person will be running in the strength of the flesh.

God Bless.

Everything turns out well in the exam smile.gif I will come back and try my best to be a good Doctor of the 'Body'

Thank you all!

Well, about that, when we wonder on Passion of Christ (for example a kind of prayer meditation I like is to wonder on that, and His mercy during the Crucifixion)

He ransomed us back from the devil, yet till now, so many reject Him, or to the lukewarm. and He gives us this freedom to choose, and with the finite time of ours (which is quite alot) to decide.

His boundless mercy and Love, you do understand right? I sometimes feel sad or I weep over this one (its not that about faith etc etc or I feel unworthy, just I like to catch a glimpse of the Lord's Passion and pray for the world)

Oh yeah, have you heard of Taize?

http://www.taize.fr/en_rubrique45.html

I am joining this European Youth Meeting between Christians (orthodox Protestants and Catholics alike) for a joyful merry Christmas, New Year and sharing of gospel, as well as interacting, dancing etc etc

Their songs - you can search in youtube, are peaceful to ear (evergreen style, good for meditation and prayer), and their activities are really good too. It will be my 2nd time with those europeans on Taize, 4th time if include Vatican meeting and World Youth Day last year smile.gif

Sharing a story with you all, some of you may have heard it but no harm reminding you again biggrin.gif

What our bro Unknown Warrior has always tried to hold upright and remind us bros n sis:

Righteousness of our Faith through the Story of an Attorney

After living what I felt was a 'decent' life, my time on earth came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house.

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the 'prosecutor.'

He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me. He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen.

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn't take my eyes off of Him.

As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, "Let us begin."

The prosecutor rose and said,
"My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this woman belongs in hell..."

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and in the past when I cheated others. Satan told of other horrible perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about.

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all.

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm I'd done?

Satan finished with a fury and said, "This woman belongs in hell, she is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise."

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench. The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward.

As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty.

I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my Savior.

He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, "Hi, Dad," and then He turned to address the court.

"Satan was correct in saying that this woman had sinned, I won't deny any of these allegations. And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this woman deserves to be punished."

Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed, "However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and she has accepted Me as her Savior, so she is Mine."

My Lord continued with, "Her name is written in the Book of Life, and no one can snatch her from Me."

"Satan still does not understand yet. This woman is not to be given justice, but rather mercy."

As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, "There is nothing else that needs to be done."

"I've done it all."

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips..

"This woman is free."

"The penalty for her has already been paid in full."

"Case dismissed."

As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, "I won't give up, I will win the next one." I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, "Have you ever lost a case?"

Christ lovingly smiled and said,

"Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you."

~"Paid In Full"~

It is finished - Jesus' 2nd last sentence on the Cross icon_rolleyes.gif

Eternal Redemption

QUOTE
Ephesians 1:7 (NIV)
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace

Hebrews 9:12 (NIV)
He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.
Yes Indeed and praise God for this.

Never let anyone tell you, You don't know if you'll ever get to Heaven. I'm sad there are some preachings like this. They preach uncertainty. They preach, "you'll never know if you will get to Heaven because of prevailing sins". This type of sermons IMO are nothing but the devil's lies and deceit.

As Child of God, washed by the blood of Jesus, You are 100% Clean, unblemished, without sins and free from accusations. Heaven is assured and guaranteed.

You MUST believe it even though you don't feel like it. That is why God ordained the Righteous shall live by Faith NOT by feelings and emotions.

Do not let any Pastors or Deacon or Demon to ever condemn you because of your sins, you're not worthy. Those are Satanic lies.

There is no such thing for Christians, we have records of sins.

IN

Hebrews 8:12 (NIV), God says
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Ever since at the cross, there is no more record for born believers. Do you know why?

Because Jesus took all your Past, Current and Future sins into his body. When God forgives, He does not remember neither does He pull out your past mistakes to ridicule you.

Likewise we should practise the same towards others. When we forgive, let it go. Don't hold on to it.

He died only once to free ALL of you. His Blood is divine blood not like the blood of bulls and goats that can only wash sinners of the OT once a year.

Jesus blood is Eternal Cleansing! It cleanses you every seconds of your life, that is why in Hebrews 9:12, it says there eternal redemption.

Hebrews 9:12 (NIV) Says
He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.

And this is the prove of scripture below that, as Christians, we are 100% clean.

Colossians 1: 21-23 (NIV) Says
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because off your evil behaviour. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusationif you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

All you need, is your Faith.

There is confusion in the body of Christ today that believe, Christians are only clean until their next sin. So they have to get ready to catch themselves from falling by quickly confessing before it's too late. They believe, on their next sin, they become 80% clean or 70% or less. The more they sin, it will go down to 0%. Just like the warning system in lowyat.

What they don't realize in essence they're saying Jesus will have to climb back to the cross to die again for every new sins they commit. That is nothing short of making Jesus blood futile and an insult if I may add.

No.

Do not add your human reasoning to the Bible. The Bible mention very clearly,

Jesus died only ONCE and it is powerful and more than enough to remove ALL your past, current and future sins. (Hebrews 9:12)

It is eternal cleansing.

If Born again believers are still able to absorb or contain sin, Jesus atonement at the cross would have been nullified and worthless. HE would have to come back again to be crucified over and over again just like sacrifices of bull, goats of the Old Testament. That would mean Jesus sacrifice is not perfect and acceptable as eternal redemption.

So start walking tall, you have been redeemed. Know that you are Holy in the eyes of God because of Jesus. You have been made righteous by your Faith!

Every time you fall from grace, do not be afraid to come to God. Know that your obedience or your works cannot make you holy. You MUST believe it that you can come to God every time you fail or sin.

You can pray like this.

"Heavenly Father, I thank you, I'm still righteous because of Jesus Blood. I thank you for the Blood of Jesus that washes continuously, and you have given me Eternal redemption in Jesus Name".

Receive that by Faith and the grace of God will flow into your life. (Romans 5:20)

doh.gif I mean you're welcome to stay.

Wasn't shooing you away.

Just wished that Christians would stop referring themselves as Catholic, Protestant, Methodists, Anglican, etc.

A simple, "hi I'm a Christian".
