If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels

Ever wonder why,

You have done all the right things before God, You Believe, You have great Faith, You've abstain from worldly things, You've tithe consistently in Church, You've attend your prayer meetings, your Fellowship meetings, you attend Sunday Worship consistently etc etc etc, ALL the things you have done and

yet

You are dismayed your prayers are not answered. By this time you must be wondering either there's something wrong with you or perhaps God is not interested in answer you.

Perhaps Here's one of the reason why.

Do you know that Faith and Love must go together? I kid you not. It is not Faith without work that is dead but Faith without Love that gives you nothing.

Look at the Scripture below.

Here the scripture is typifying all the great things Christians can do. Speaking Heaven's Language, Prophesying, Revelations of secrets, etc.
Even Mountain Moving Faith is mentioned here. (Well Aha!)


It relates to the things that people do in Church. I've done this, I've done that, etc.

Yet God is saying even though you're superiorly religious but yet lack of love, you are just (allow me to put this elegantly)

"Tin Kosong" , a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

That's what 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 is saying.

You''ll get Zilch from God if you don't put on Love and Practice it in your life (Real Life and Forum Life). I think I'm stepping on some people's toe here. Doesn't matter, this will help you in your Life. smile.gif

If you want to be an effective Christian, All Fire for God, make sure it's not only your Faith that is strong, But also your Love Walk that is STRONG.

Love your enemies. Love without Compromise. What is Love?

For those who find reading difficult, Don't try and read the whole book in a go.

Rushing through just to complete the Bible may not benefit you.

There are many revelations in even a few sentences.

Go Few Paragraph by Paragraph.

Maybe read only2-4 lines of sentences.

One of my Pastors taught me, The right way to have revelation is to digest every few words you read.

You cannot digest the entire Book in one go. It's almost impossible.

This means even 1 sentence, the moment it speaks to you, meditate on it.

Even 1 sentence is powerful enough to change your life.

My Suggestion is, go sentence by sentences then stop for the day.

Summary

1. 1 Day read couple of sentence. Few in the morning, Few in the Night.
2. As what fghvbn mentioned, pray before you read. Ask God to help you to understand every words you read in the Bible.

It's funny how back in the old testament, the general view is that God the Father is usually depict as the God who unleashed wrath, judgement and punishment towards sinner and YET in the New Testament, we see Jesus who is one with the Father having dinner with Sinners. (Matthew 9:10) Honestly this is mind-boggling to me.

Questions after questions flooded my mind.
Did God went soft and change his mind about Sinners?
Is Jesus the same God with the Father?
What caused the 180 degrees turn in the Father's attitude?

If you study ALL the New Testament books, you'll hardly find God the Father venting out his righteous anger like in the Old Testament. It's not there anymore.

Did you know that New Testament means New Covenant from God the Father with each and everyone of you?

In my previous devotion, I've mentioned that God is a systematic God, He unfolds His Plan Stage by Stage with various people and time leading to the reasons of NT.

One of the answer to this, is found in Isaiah 43, God the Father speaking.

Here in Isaiah God is unveiling his plan about Jesus.

Back in the Old Testament, the Sin Offering for the people are done by the High Priest through sacrifice of animals. Bear in Mind, Majority of Secular Law demand all crime must be punished, when a criminal is caught, there's no way he's escaping his own crime. Same thing, God's righteous Law demands sin must be punished. It would be hypocritical to accept one and reject the others.

The reason God the Father is unsatisfied in the sacrifice of animals is because those sacrifice could not remove sin. That is why Year after Year High Priest have to do this again and again. (Hebrews 5:1)

But Jesus who sacrifice his Blood by dying on the cross for us, complete all of the God's indignation, wrath and Judgement. Once and for all. (Hebrews 10)

Dearly beloved, know that if God is willing to send His Son Jesus to die for your sins, it means you're a precious and of highest value in his sight. God is righteous in accepting the punishment of sin through his own Son crucified on the cross.(Hebrews 9:14)

That is why God with the fore-knowledge of this plan could sit with sinner, look at them, heal them, delivered them and raise them. That is Love.

Everybody have trials and tribulations in their life. The words waters, rivers and fire all represent some sort of problems you have in your life.

God did not promise you will NOT have problem but He promise to be with You in those difficult times and deliver you out of it.

You just have to stay in Faith. As a child of God, you have inherited this right to declare this promise before God over and over again until you see the breakthrough come in.

God will be please when you communicate to Him on all of his promises. You can remind God by Saying

"God you said in Isaiah 43 <insert verse>, God you said in Romans xx <insert verse>.


Take heart Dear Brother and Sisters, Our God is Alive and Well Today, dear brethren.



God Declares to you

Well as long as the thing you do does not goes against Christian Principals.

Like selling alcohol, drugs, girls, piracy, pornography, gambling, etc. To name a few.

Other than that, I don't see how is it God is not opening the door for you in your job, career or business.

Even if you have 2-3 choices, as long as it does not contradict, go with the one that you are at most peace with.

Ask around for few opinions. Sometimes God uses People to speak to you.

Understand that when options arrive at your door, to venture into either one of them, God will provide the necessary

means for you to go through it.

Sometimes certain options is asking too much from us, then you really need to pray and ask God is that is indeed His will.

God will not over-burden you with choices beyond your means to achieve it.

Trust Me,

There are many things I want, done my way.

Oh there are so many of them. More often not it doesn't work that well, when I tried it my way.

Experience just sort of let me know I can't really Fight God's will because He's stronger.

But the good news is, God knows better and his way always lead to better victories than mine could ever.

I give God all the praise for being patience with me. smile.gif

I can share with you there are some of the things in my life, I rather not also do if possible.

I find it very difficult because it makes me very uncomfortable.

Almost every week I have to meet with that person because He's family.

I have to be patience with him because He's extremely against my believes.

But God tells me to be patience and respect him as a person and love him as I would love my own.

It's hard when you're being verbally attack and humiliated at times.

I told God, I'm not willing to put up with this. If possible I don't want to see him.

It is sort of like humiliated, disturbed mentally But God gave me the strength, grace and provision.

At times I feel it's not worth it but deep down I know it's better to trust God rather than to trust what I think is right.

At time I don't know how I got through it, But without realizing it, I'm slowly built with very high tolerance and I believe God will use this later for other purpose in my life.

The mind is usually, the priority, the first place of attack. If he can convinced you in your mind that you're without hope, the rest will follow. If the devil can get hold of your mind under it's fingers, he'll have a "hell" of field day destroying you by making you think destructive and negative thoughts. IMO this will lead to more serious stage of attacks once He can establish a foothold in there.

But Praise God for providing us weapons to fight back all the lies. Just remember the Devil is the Father of all Lies and God is the Truth.

Choose God's truth over the Devil's Lies.

Quoting God's word to pull down Satan's stronghold also happens in the mind. How do you do it? You quote the relevant verse against the situation and let it take root in your mind.

It is not enough to just quote the words like some sort of a charm and see what happens.

Your Thoughts must line up with your Faith in action.

After quoting , EXPECT it in Faith that it is already there. Your Faith is what activates God to deliver you and to answer you. That's why 2 Corinthians 10 says mighty through God

Dear Friends, the Devil wants you to think Poverty Life, God wants you to think Prosperity Life (3 John 1:2)

Choose Today your thoughts. God's Thoughts or the Devil's thoughts.

Your believe is an affirmation of your mind. Thoughts are Faith Sight, not your eye sight. Think about it.

When Hebrew11 mentions faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, it doesn't mean the evidence is not going to be seen forever and must be invisible indefinitely NEVER to happen, by then it is no longer hope. What it means is that you don't see it NOW but it will come to your life in due time and you will see it with your eyes. Once you see the things you hope for come to pass, does it nullify your faith then? No your faith is what substantiate your believe.

ALL Scripture is God inspired. (2 Timothy 3:16) Every stroke of the pen, even greetings are God Inspired; i.e: God speaking through the writer to you.

You will find there are many supported verse that supports God desiring the best in life for us. James 1:17 affirms that Every Good and perfect gifts comes from God. John 10:10 tell you God is in favor of you in abundant of life, in health and in prosperity.

Many Christians get into taboo mode whenever prosperity is mentioned.

Dear Friends, this life of financial lack, self pity life is very much what the devil wants. (John 10:10)

I have to correct you, God does not look at material wealth as the lost do, there is a difference. (Matthew 6:24)
