That's not right bro. I believe this stems from influences from Hollywood made movies.

They make you believe as if Satan's power is nearly as powerful as God. Over time you get brainwashed subconsciously to believe like it is.

Most movies make it seem like it's hard for God to defeat the Devil. That's Hollywood for you.

You have to understand, this world is under the Devil's influence. he'll definitely control the world's thoughts using Lies and deception just like how "certain" political party uses mass media to their own advantage.

This misconception that the Devil is close to God's power is not biblical base.

Don't you know that Demons trembles in great Fear in the presence of God.  (James 2:19) (Luke 8:31)

In Fact in the Book of Luke devils literately beg Jesus, not the other way round. (Luke 8:32)

If the Devil is nearly as powerful they would have given Jesus a fair sort of resistance before conceding when He command them to get our of afflicted victims.

But No, Jesus effortlessly command them to come out because He is infinitely more powerful and the best part, the demons concede because they're no where nearly as powerful to resist. Think about that.

One more thing. As Christians you should know by heart that the Devil has been disarmed of his powers towards Believers. (Colossians 2:15)

That is why when Jesus says you would have no power over me unless it is given from above (John 19:11) is also true in context for believers.

You must know this otherwise you'll live your life in fear of the devil.

Its a place to start. All scripture is God's breath. The bible is basically more than just a place to learn, it is life itself.

Yeah. I done some research before. Its some statements/arguement made by some atheists. I own bible myself, I read when I was young (my parents is Christian). I'm still confusing about bible. It's an errors or it was written by someone who do not the science? Well, I read a book called "The God Delusion", it bring up a lot of facts and true statements which changed my mind few years ago about religion.

Well, I still went to church for celebration and festival.

1. I don't know what this Abram is about. All I know is its all written in bible.

2. I'm born as Christian (My parent is Christian), I went to church when I was young and still going to church for special events. I got few friends who is Jesus-holic and speak to me about their god everyday. I hear their Christianity story every time I meet them.

3. I don't know why Buddhism was dragged to here. I don't know if you ever read this thread title. The facts is Buddhism is based on morality and teaching, get to know who is siddhartha gautama. Go do some research about him if you haven't. Nirvana and karma just a myth.

4. Bible is ONLY evidence to proof the existence of Jesus or other mentioned peoples. There is no actual references stated in the bible. The New Testament was written in the 4th century and there are a lot of amendment have been made. And there are still a lot of errors are proven especially in Genesis.

5. Don't assume, I ate biscuit as Jesus meat and drink Ribena as Jesus blood every Sunday morning until I realised a strong common sense was growing up for myself. I own holy bible myself since 1998. I put it on my bed every night when my mother bought it for me. Well, nowadays I have keep it in my rack as I got more important books to put on my bed now.

I clicked the link and I bookmarked it. I don't really have time to see it now. Fully using my day now. I really enjoy sitting in front of computer with internet but it maybe give me few hour per day. Sorry for bad grammar. Cheers!!!!

When I was young, I went to Taynton Church. Nowadays, I'm going to my friend church at nearby Taman Maluri. Both at cheras selangor.

I tried hard to search the name through the net for you but I couldn't find it. Honestly, I don't remember the name of church, I don't even realise it. But there is only a church at taynton,cheras and maluri, cheras.

What makes you think that the church I attended is cult church?

I start going to church when I were Kindergarten until I was 18 years old. I quit going because I had to join my college and I'm busy with part time job on weekend. Its about 7 years ago. Seriously, maybe its my fault to not remember the name of church and you are silly to think its related to god. Yes, I'm laughing at you.

I know some friend from my college who is Christian and I start joining back to church for only special events. But hey, one of them know that I'm ex-Christian, she still ask me to join them for some events. Its my fault again for not knowing the name church that my friend invited me to join.

I admire those who can fully rely on prayers. Their faith is truly worth admiring.

But I have taken a step away from churches and let my faith in God be between me and Him.

Well this just further prove that God is still on the Throne. If Pastor Kong Hee has been misusing Church funds for his own selfish gain, He will be remove by God.

And looks like it already has.

BY no means should anyone criticize CHC. They may have been used by God to reach out to others. God may have even worked miracles, signs and wonders in that Church.

By no means just because of one man, the entire Church is equally guilty.

I'm sure there are genuine Christians there. See it's not in our place to Judge and Criticize people. Let God do his Job and we do ours.

Who are we really trying to take God's place and Judge? Eh? By doing so you put yourself under judgement from the Father.

If you're a Christian, you should submit to the teaching of this, if you are an unbeliever, I don't blame you as you acted in ignorance.
