Your Obedience make you righteous?


Dear beloved,

I believe what I'm about to share will set you free. Free from self inflicted bondage. Free from condemnation, Free to know that God loves you freely and does not condemn you even when you fall from grace, even when you sinned.

Look at Romans 5:19.

It is by one man, Adam, all were made sinners. And Also by One Man obedience, Many will be made righteous.

Question.

Who is that one man? You?

The bible says God found no man righteous. (Romans 3:10)

So YOU is out of the question and equation. So who is that one Man?

Answer is Jesus Christ.

It is Jesus Christ obedience, that God the Father accepts and imputes unto you as a gift of gracious. So what does this means?

It means that no matter what you do. Whether you try to abstain from lying, from cheating, from watching pornography, etc or whether you read the Bible longer hours, you come to Church more often or you do more charity.

None of whatever you do, will ever make you righteous before God. None.

So why do you feel condemn or guilty when you sin as Christian?  I'll tell you why. It's because of wrong teaching from well meaning preachers at the pulpit.

Perhaps there are some Churches today that still teaches Christian should follow with the mixture of the Law of the Old Testament and the New Testament Grace. But did you know that God found fault with the Old Testament? (Hebrews 8:7) Even Abraham had nothing to boast before God through works (Romans 4:2). in 2 Corinthians 3:7, God calls the Old Testament as ministry of Death. Think about that for a moment. Why would God call it ministry of death if indeed we need to follow it? Follow the Law unto our death?

The Old Testament was never really what God wanted for his children. It is only when Israel in their self effort saying to God they could fulfilled all of God's requirement through their own self effort, did God gave the 10 commandments. The Law was given to show Man they can never perfectly fulfil the OT Laws.

Here is the problem. There are Christians who think their obedience towards God give them a right to stand before God and by the same token when they sin, they feel a distance from God.

My friend, That is the old testament way of approaching God. You cannot mix old wine into new wine skin, for both will be ruined.

The new Testament is all about Grace. 100% Grace.  It is not your obedience that God imputes righteousness. It is Jesus obedience.

Learn to receive Jesus obedience and acknowledge before God it's none of your obedience. When you have revelation of that, know that dear Friends, even when you sin, and  ESPECIALLY when you sin, you can still come to God and Thank Him it is not your obedience but Jesus Obedience that makes you righteous.

When you believe and have Faith in that Grace, you will live an obedience lifestyle. Knowing that God freely accept you even when you sin, will empower you to live a right lifestyle. Now Obedience is the fruit, NOT the root.

But if you still try to approach God by believing it is your obedience first that gives you a right, You will inevitably Fail according to the power of the Law of Death which is the Old Testament. (Galatians 3:10)
Learn to discard your own righteousness which is tainted with sin anyway. Learn to receive Jesus righteousness without involving any of your own effort. This truth will set you free from all condemnation. (Romans 8:1)

It's good that you ask this because there are some Christian who uses this scripture to misinterpret the saving grace of our Lord Jesus.

I did ask the Lord about this and I asked him how come these passage contradicts your once and for all grace. (1 Peter 3:18 , Hebrews 9:28, Hebrews 7:27).

I asked God, since your blood cleanses us once and for all, how can anyone lose their salvation where there will be gnashing of teeth, etc? How come these people does not qualify to enter? The passage did mention "We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets". It means these people somehow know about God. Now you must understand the difference between knowing about God and Knowing God himself in an intimate relationship. The passage is talking about the former. They only know God from afar not as their personal saviour. They reject his Love. In other word they're essentially saying they don't need God in their Life. That is why Jesus says He never knew them.

He told me that this passage refers to people who try to earn through their own way to Salvation through works. They do not believe that Jesus Sacrifice on the cross is more than enough to atone for their sins. The passage did mention "narrow door". Narrow door here represent Jesus Sacrifice on the cross. (refer to the passage before John 10:10)

God the Father does not recognize any other way accept to through the acceptance of the blood of Jesus Christ. So for people who think it is by their own obedience, they abstained from sinning by their own effort, they are still trying to get to God the Old Testament way which is the Ministry of Death.  (2 Corinthians 3:7)

That is why God the Father says "My people are destroyed by lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6)

I believe and understand once you accept Jesus as your saviour, you cannot lose your salvation because God the Father no longer looks at you but sees you as Jesus.

When you come to this revelation, the Holy Spirit will empower your Life.
