Mary is a woman of God just like everyone else in the bible.

She is among the people like Abraham, David, Daniel, Ezekiel, etc.

You don't pray to human beings, wintersun.

True that she was the biological mother to bear the child Christ but God never declare, neither did he mention that she is the Mother of God because after the resurrection, Jesus has been restored to full Power from the limitation of human being.

If there is, you should know which part of the Bible that says this otherwise.

He is divine because He is the son of God, not the son of Mary.

You are right. God knows the heart of each individual. He knows if money/riches will destroy an individual and
He knows who can handle money/riches and yet maintain a deep relationship with God as first priority.

Because Money is just a temporal happiness. It's not lasting joy. Allow me to explain why.

The moment you have loads of money, you're happy. The moment you have none, you're Not happy.

If Money becomes the condition of your happiness, then you have a problem.

What will you do when you're always low on money and never have enough?

That's when you decide to get miserable and you get angry easily towards people.

You think because of the lack of money, it gives you the license to mistreat people.

Money is not a real source of Joy.

Even if you have a brand new BMW, you'll probably hold your happiness up to certain months and after that, it's becomes nothing really.

By then you'll want something more, maybe a Ferrari. Point is, the things of this world is a false sense of security and happiness. It doesn't last.

That's why I say this is a problem.

So my question to you.

Is your pursuit of money stronger or your pursuit of God is stronger?

Because one of the perks of being a Christian is that God will take care of all your needs as long as you put Him as FIRST priority (Mat 6:33)

If that is the case you should start of by letting God meet your basic need first. And improvise as you mature spiritually.

If you let God be your first priority, God can be your everlasting joy.




Since Money is evidently just temporary happiness, we should seek an even better Joy which is only found in God.

Allow me to balance this up before anyone gets confuse.

There is nothing wrong with having money whether it's loads of it or less of it. God knows this is a legitimate need that needs no reason nor justification to having it. People cannot live without money while on earth.

The problem akin to money is this. Like I said before,

Is your pursuit of money stronger or your pursuit of God is stronger?

The moment you focus on pursuing money, you will lose your focus on spiritual pursuit of God and drop it to secondary and maybe even further as times goes by.

Those who are new in Christ or still in the immature spiritual stage, will be in the danger of this category because they lack the knowledge.

Jesus never says to pursue money at all. You won't find it in the Bible.

In Fact He says Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you! (Mat 6:33)

Jesus is saying YOU WILL HAVE IT. Since you are going to have your financial needs met, why pursue it at all? In fact It will come pursuing you, but what is the condition? Read the verse again.

So is it wrong that there are Genuine Christians who are very Rich and Wealthy? Is it Sinful for them to be in that state?

None at all because they know their priority. God will promote and increase you when He sees you are humbled and ready to serve others.

In fact if you ask really spiritual people, they will tell you they have no attachment to money, neither do they see it as something worth pursuing.

One of the secret to having an abundant and blessed financial life is to keep on tithing faithfully to Church and to keep on generously giving to those in need, like the homeless, welfare, etc. Do it with the right heart because it's the right thing to do. Don't do it for the sake that you want to be rich.

God is not fooled.


Jesus has given us a new covenant in NT that Salvation is by Faith.
It is not through doing good works. Salvation through works is under the old law of the OT.
Yes you can ignore that erroneous doctrine.







Catholic theology believes Purgatory is a temporary place where Christian’s soul goes to after death to be punished and cleansed of the sins that had not been fully satisfied during life. If man is to be punished That basically means man's salvation can be attain in purgatory by self effort or work and this very clearly conflicts the work of the cross where Jesus redeem us.

Romans and Hebrew scripture above clearly says Jesus Sacrifice for our sins is complete, finish and once for all. All of God's Judgement and wrath fell upon Jesus consumed it into his human body, stoke after stroke after stroke of the punishment when it was done, He cried, IT IS FINISHED! (John 19:30)

Once and For ALL. Nobody need to do purgatory cleansing for any kind of Sin any more. That is God's unmerited grace for you and for me. Self effort is self righteousness. Jesus says to only believe in his perfect finished work because our own blood is stain with sin and our self effort can never atone.

Jesus says I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. No ones comes to the Father but THROUGH me NOT through our punishment in Purgatory.

What do you know about God part 2?




This is the one central key of great importance that separates Christianity from the rest of the religion in this world. LOVE.

Why is this verse important and why does it seem there's a complete change in the New Testament from the Old Testament where there always seem to be Judgement and Punishment and God's wrath?

Answer: Because Man's Sin is already paid for in Jesus Christ. God no longer holds his Judgement against you.


Dear Brothers and Sisters, when you know you are LOVED and FORGIVEN of all SINS, you will have no desire to hate others because you are satisfied and complete within.

As Bad as you were, as corrupted as you were, as hateful as you were, as ruthless as you were, God still wants you. And He STILL chose you despite of your flaws.

This is love that surpasses All understanding.

It's like this, when you wronged someone or someone wronged you, naturally you'll want to avoid that person. Why Because you feel that either that person owe you or you owe the other person, some form of apology. Same thing with God, when you know you've sinned against God, naturally you'll want to avoid if not run away.

Dear Friends, you don't have to run or avoid anymore. Hebrews 8:12 Declare you are forgiven.

Since you are completely forgiven, then you no longer need to hold on to grudges towards others.

Release it and your forgiveness will release you and lighten your burden.

You will be light weighted and you can move faster and better and higher to the place of greater heights.

Why is Love central in the New Testament?

Love is what unites Man throughout the world.

You will not find any record of God's wrath in the New Testament.

Consider the following Scripture that testify of God's New Covenant.



God Desire Mercy and not judgement.

Jesus has been consistent in his action to testify the world, that God is a God who desire Love and Mercy more than Judgement and Wrath.

And if you do as He says, his word declares "By this all men will know that you are my disciples".

If God himself acknowledge that you as his disciples, Then God knows you.

My advise to you is, try not get into argument with non believers in this forum. Because you will get nothing out of it but insults and scorn because those who don't know God are still under the influence of the Anti-Christ.

Instead guard what you say and try your best to only use your words to build others up.

God has put you in your church to be built and to build others. I believe It's all in the timing.

Even in my church I see the same faces but I tell myself, I can still learn from them. Because when ministers speak, you must remember it is the holy spirit who speaks. The Ministers do not speak on his own.


This thread is our sanctuary where we have a place to pour out our hearts. In this place I thank God we can fellowship and keep ourselves strong in the Lord.

As Christians we are called to be light of this world. To be a light, we cannot walk in darkness as others do.

Because if we do, we are no different and cannot be a testimony for our God.

That's because my priority has shifted.

That's because we have confidence in God for everything.



Nothing Bad will happen to us If our God does not permit it.

We don't declare bad things will happen neither do we curse ourselves.

And for me why God is good all the time is because His Plan for us is good for long term, never short term.
