I wanna know if the XBOX 360 i bought in the United States can be played in Malaysia? I`m a student here so im just wondering should i get a new one in Malaysia or just bring back the one i bought in the states. If its possible, i really like to bring back my xbox, since buying a new one in Malaysia is really overpriced. Any ideas?

second question, im getting a kinect over in the states too. Can i used it in Malaysia?

US set use diff power supply and most resellers here sell games that r meant for the asian market so u gon have trouble finding games in msia.. unless u buy online lol

Buy in US. Although u can't play region games, u can play free region games.
Power supply problem?
go to hardware shop and you'll have no problem.

I have an xbox 360 slim power brick that uses 2 Pin US-Socket but i can switch by using my laptop 3-Pin Socket.

So if i don't use my laptop, i often use the 3-pin socket for the xbox, eliminating the hassle to buy a power adapter for the 2-pin US Socket

Correct me if I am wrong, you would need a step-down transformer, because US console is using 110V while our country are supplying 220V - 240V.

go to hardware shop n get step up/down transformer , need to add money .. i think around rm1xx

cant play asian region games, big handicap already, since not all games are region free, why limit urself?

warranty problem? send back to US ?? if u buy SG set, u can ask some local retailers here to help u claim warranty if anything goes wrong for a nominal fee.. or u can just down SG urself...

@TS, if u can ignore all of the above problems, then yes, US set can use in msia LOL
