hi rayanne,

I am currently using the following products:

morning : derma clay cleanser -> multiactive toner -> oil control lotion -> sunblock spf30 booster
night : ultra calming cleanser -> derma clay cleanser -> multiactive toner -> active moist

on alternative day I will use daily microfoliant and hydrating mask after that. As I working in air-cond office, i will spray avene spring water on my face once a while.
However, after I used this regime for one week, my skin started to have break outs and pimples. I not really sure whether is my way of using it causes the breakouts or some of the products doesn't suit me.

Anyway, I am a guy and having an oily/acne prone skin. I swim almost everyday. What should I do now... sad.gif

Hihi
since when u started using dermalogica and avene?which one come 1st and only the sensitiveness appeared? but its quite confused as u mentioned you're actually acneprone skin(meaning to say u have breakouts).. so is the products effect or actually ur previous skin cond oledi so?

2nd, try this:
morning : derma clay cleanser -> ultra calming cleanser -> multiactive toner -> oil control lotion -> sunblock spf30 booster
night : derma clay cleanser -> ultra calming cleanser -> multiactive toner -> active moist

You can think of switching dermal clay cleanser to anti-bac skin wash,250ml/500ml. 3rd, swimming will cause skin condition inflame/changes due to the water hygiene issue. Anyhow, cleanse ur face after swim, beware of what u eat and get enough sleep with the right products^^

Actually before I use dermalogica, my skin condition is stable and seldom will have breakouts. After I start using dermalogica, the skin starts to have breakouts. I used avene for quite sometime before dermalogica.

After swim I will use cleanser to clean my skin with Lab Series for Men Power Wash, which I used it for last time before I switch to dermalogica products. After that will apply toner and moisturizer.

Sorry for causing confusion there. I think I will try your steps first to see how it goes. Mind to tell me why derma clay first instead of ultra calming first? thanks =)

Worry of products ingredient mix-complexion caused the sensitiveness. If stable meaning to say not even any breakouts than its products-switching sensitiveness. But if stable with minor breakouts then it take times to see how it goes i suppose.

Hehe because dermal clay might be harsh to certain skin condition. Not for all but some. So with acne prone skin, try antibac skin wash. second is, apply dermal clay following by ultracalming as to calm and retexture your skin after clay wash, as ultracalm also provide moisture for drier skin by reducing inflamtion.e.g after swim

Actually I used dermalogica products for around 1 year 3 years ago. That time I was using:
morning: ultracalming cleanser -> special cleansing gel -> multiactive toner -> gentle soothing booster -> active moist -> sunblock spf 30 booster
night: ultracalming cleanser -> special cleansing gel -> multiactive toner -> gentle soothing booster -> active moist

then skin refining mask, daily microfoliant and hydrating mask. I was very satisfied with the result. That makes me wonder is it my skin cannot tolerate the dermal clay cleanser and oil control lotion.

Normally the sensitiveness caused by products ingredient mix-complexion will last for how long? I already used dermalogica for over 3 weeks. thanks

Wah...now only you mentioned been using dermalogica before..if over that time u are satisfied with the result..perhaps its ur current skin cond changes.. how long it will last? it really subject to individual. anyhow u can try take antibac or change the sequence order of dermal clay follow by ultracalm. oil control lotion is to clear excess oil on our face. if u are worry about it,stop using it for 2 weeks and see the result. but mean while try 1st method first ok. the lab series body wash not for face right.. cos i duno whats the ingredient etc.

hehe, I am not get used to include all information in one post. I am not a regular forum poster >.<

Last time I was oily/sensitive/acne prone skin, but it became better after i used dermalogica. So, 1st method is to use the dermal clay followed by ultracalming right?

anyway, the lab series is for face. I dont dare to risk my face by using a body cleanser. laugh.gif
thanks
