Dear Rayanne,

I have been using Dermalogica's products for the past 6 months. I have a combination (dry on my cheek and oily at T-Zone area) + sensitive skin. No doubt this product has reduces the sensitivity, redness and itchyness of my skin. What I have been noticing lately is that my forehead starts to has a lot of acne and breakouts and also between my nose and upper lips. I will go for a facial treatment at Belle Lina at least once a month or sometimes once every 2 weeks. All they do is keep introducing new products to me. I personally do not want to attach and use too many products on my face. Here's what I'm using now for day and night...

Day - Ultra Calming Cleanser -> Eucerin Cleansing Gel (I used this before Dermalogica and it works well for me. So I continue using it) -> Multi Active Toner -> Skin Hydrating Booster -> Barrier Repair -> Skin Smoothing Cream -> Dr Renaud Sunscreen SPF 30 (this works well for me too) -> Total Eye Care SPF 15

Night - Ultra Calming Cleanser -> Eucerin Cleansing Gel -> Daily Microfoliant -> Eve Taylor Face Oil No.1 -> Skin Hydrating Mask -> After Sun Repair -> Eve Taylor Face Oil No.3 (only apply at acne area as antiseptic) -> Soothing Protection Spray -> Skin Hydrating Booster -> Barrier Repair -> Skin Smoothing Cream -> Celmonze Eye Gel

I use Daily Microfoliant on alternate days, follow by Skin Hydrating Mask for sure...

Base on the products I'm using now, I don't think it's insufficient.. But what is missing tht causes the breakout??!!! I feel so upset whenever I look at the mirror.. The acne is so ugly and painful! So, what do you think? Am I using the right products in a right order..? Your comment is greatly appreciated...

Btw, can I know the discounted price for Multi Active Toner 250ml, Gentle Soothing Booster 30ml and Dermal Clay Cleanser 240ml?

Regards,
Angela

Dear Rayanne,

I still stick to my usual lifestyle... Maybe it's really due to changes of hormonce.. Now, I only apply Skin Smoothing Cream on dry area esp. on my cheek and apply lesser of Sunscreen. I use 2 eyes products is because I need SPF protection during the day and w/o SPF during the night..

"remark 3: those that eliminate prds - to avoid oiliness/inflamatation will caused breakouts e.g after sun repair, sscream."

I don't quite understand the above. Can you explain? Thanks!

Cheers,
Angela

Hi angela,
Remarks just fyi cause notice that some of the products of your current using i've remove from ur list. Because like solar defense system(sunscreen) and moisturiser gives away moisture/oiliness. FOr normal skin texture is ok to use it necessary, but for ur case,i think maybe  u can try not to use it first to see whether over-moisture is the cause of ur acne breakouts ya.

I will submit order tomorrow. Anyone need help?thx

Dear Rayanne,

I've got another thing to ask... I will have blackheads on my nose (a lot!) every 3-4 days after extraction. What product/way do you recommend in order to reduce the blackheads or at least don't pop up too fast lah?

Ok, 1 more question. I saw a lot of products in the market which helps to tighten pores. Do you believe in such product? Does it really works? My beautician told me that it's not true. What really works is "be hardworking and do hydrating mask daily"! So, what do you think?

Understand that you provide consultation and recommendation of products.. What about empty bottle of the original packing? Hehe.. I bought all big big bottles and I really wanna get those empty bottle of travel kit size. Easy to carry for travelling.. Any idea if there's any possibility I can buy/get them?

Prompt reply much appreciated.

Regards,
Angela

Hi angela_png,

For reduce the blackheads/whiteheads, u can try Cellnique Skin Sebum Action Gel retail at Rm139. There are many good compliments about it. Apply on affected area only.

Same to you, once my beautician told me the same thing that to minimize pores one is apply more hydrating masque on the skin. It helps though. For other product in the market,i think maybe it works too but just subject to individual skin condition de.e.g Pore diminishes from cellnique is one example.

Sorry no sample bottle available. I would suggest u purchase a skin kit set at 1-time off. Just like i do,so in the future i really bring along this travel kit,its sooooooo convenient and lovely wub.gif

Hi Rayanne,

I don't intend to try any other products than Dermalogica. So, what do you recommend from Dermalogica?

Hey Rayanne,

I'm trying to get this Treatment Foundation.. Do you think this product can act as the make-up foundation before I apply any make-up on my face? I wanted to try Averine, but I wanna give priority to Dermalogica first.
